Job purpose: Working as an auditor in QMD to insure that all the quality standards are followed in the hospital and teach quality auditing concept to other health organization in Oman 8. Job dimensions (Authorities assigned-Financial / staff) Nil 9. Job specification a. Qualifications : o BSc o Background in Quality Management and Planning preferable b. Experience: o 2 years experience in quality management and planning c. Knowledge: o Should have attended/ participate in courses related to auditing. d. Skills: Should possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills both in Arabic and English. Demonstrate ability to interact with health professionals and senior university officials. Strong background in statistics and health information. Ability to write audit scheduling. Should demonstrate ability to write auditing schedule, conduct audit, and analyze the results and suggest possible interventions. Should be familiar with ISO standard or any other standard adapted in the hospital. Should possess strong background in computer skills (word, power Point, Excel and Vision). strong statistical and analytical skills including SPSS e. Attitude and Behavior: Quality management Department Full time Head of Department Nil Auditor (Lead Auditor, Incident Auditor, Risk Auditor)

Possess the attitude to make the effective running of the department a primary concern besides the concern for patient care. Prepared to work as a team member, in manner that best serves the interest of the University Hospital.

10. Key result areas: o o o o o o o o o o o Structure and develop internal audit schedules Coordinate scheduled audits and assist in their execution Ensure that all audit results will be documented and analyzed Report all internal audit findings and provide suggestions for possible interventions Assist external auditor Writing action plan based on the external auditor report Follow up issues raised by external and internal auditors Assist in preparing and presenting Management Review Ensure relevant occupational safety and health standards are implemented and maintained Execute the responsibilities maintaining high level of ethical, moral and professional standards. Ensure that the overall activities in the department meet the requirements of quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care. Strive to keep up to date with the latest developments in the filed of auditing.
