The work presented in this thesis has been carried out at the Division of Fluid and Mechanical Engineering Systems and There are a great number of people that I would like to mention. First of all, I would like to thank my Er. G.S Rattan head of department and Er. Charanjit Singh and Er. Ramandeep Singh for his support and outstanding ability to come up with new ideas. I would also like to give special thanks to my outside coordinator for inspiring discussions and optimism. I do not want to forget Prof. Charanjit Singh, who is always available for short intensive discussions, which are of great importance. Many thanks to all members and former members Mechanical Department for more and less serious discussions in between work, which are an important part of the project process called brainstorming. Many other people have also been involved in research not necessarily presented in this thesis. I would also like to mention the technical staff at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and thank them for invaluable help to demonstrate power steering mechanism and the manufacturing of the motor pulley and also for other part of Power Steering.
