We asked 25 random participants to rank the five pulp free orange juice brands available at Kroger: Tropicana

Kroger Orange Juice Florida Natural Minute Maid Simply Orange

Evaluation
We assessed the orange juice brands from the survey data on the following criteria: Taste

Price Sugar content Vitamins and minerals content

Methods
For our taste test we asked each participant to rate each individual sample of orange juice on a five point scale, 5 being the best and 1 being the worst. They drank a 2-ounce sample of each brand of pulp free orange juice and ranked them.

Methods Continued
Price, Vitamin and Mineral Content, and Low Sugar Content were evaluated in the same way:
Price: Orange Juice was ranked from being the most expensive (1) to the least expensive (5) based on the price of a 59-ounce carton. Vitamin and Mineral Content: Orange Juice was ranked from the least amount of nutrients (1) to the most amount (5) per serving. Low Sugar Content: Orange Juice was ranked from most amount of sugar (1) to least amount (5) based on grams per serving size.

Taste Test Calculation

We calculated the taste test on a range of five points for each sample. As each of the 25 participants drank a sample, we recorded their rating between one to five. After gathering all the data, we added up each rating and generated an average score.

Vitamins and Minerals Content

Conclusion
With the information we collected from the different tests, we compared the different ratings between criteria to show on a 5 point scale what product had the best in over all taste, vitamins and minerals content, and least sugar content.

Recommendation
We recommend Kroger Orange Juice. Even though it did not win the taste and vitamins and minerals test, it received the highest total score in having the cheapest price and lowest sugar content.
