May I now request the dignitaries to kindly take their seats on the dias. Our speaker for the session is Dr. Selvan D Vice President at Capegemini. After completing his Engineering from IIT Madras, . Dr. Selvan went to IIM Ahmedabad, and for the last 28 years he has been in the IT Service Industry with varied exposure.

His area of research work was in Human Resource Management from the Symbiosis International University . After an initial stint of 7 years with NIIT, . He worked with Wipro for more than 20 years, where he played multiple roles like being the Head of Sales for the Software Products Division, ---- championing the Six Sigma initiative across the organization, being Head of a Vertical --- in charge of its P&L and Leading the Talent Transformation team. Under HIS leadership, the learning function received a multitude of global recognitions. He also championed Mission10X || Wipros not-for-profit initiative that trained over 25,000 faculties among various Engineering Colleges across India.

Currently, Mr. Selvan heads the L&D for Capgemini, India where he is responsible for competency development, cadre building and building the Leadership pipeline. He has authored several research papers in the area of employability and presented them across many forums. His papers have been published both in national and international journals. He is also a member on the board of several government bodies and educational institutions. SMILEEE!!!!! We welcome you Sir!! Our Chairperson for the session is Dr. R. Jagadeesh, Professor Operations SDMIMD, Mysore. Dr. Jagadeesh is also an adjunct faculty at The Richard J Fox School of business and management, Temple University, USA.

His areas of interests are TQM, Six Sigma, Quantitative Techniques, Operations Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Sir, I welcome you as well.
