It can affect on TCH block, but can decrease SDCCH block. Check parametr Idle SDCCH Trehshold by default it is 2, you can set it 3 or 4. But if you have high SDCCH congestion - only increase TRX number or decrease user number, change tilt, power, new site...a lot of options The Following User Says Thank You to _lisi4king For This Useful Post:

which one parameter can solve this problem 1st. solution: Define Static TS for SDCCH 2nd. solution: Enable Dynamic SDCCH Allocation by set SDDYN=YES on cell level; then adjust values of "Idle SDCCH threshold N1" & "Cell SDCCH Channel Maximum"

Re: Have problem Failed SDCCH Seizures due to Busy SDCCH Keep in mind also that if you have more than 1 fixed SD defined per trx there is no possibility of Dynamic SD conversion So for instance if you have a 2TRX cell with 2SD+2SD you cannot have Dynamic SD with this c onfiguration You would need to change it to 3SD +1SD and then you have the possibility of 4 fixed SD + 1 D ynamic SD

To check if succesful CR3000 gives no of initially configured SDCCH R3560 gives max no of SDCCH if bigger than CR3000 then Dynamic allocation occurred Its also worth mentioning that there is no possibility of Dynamic SD on a 1TRX cell
