<p>A massive earthquake measuring at lea st 8.8 on the scale of Richter hit northeast Japan today. Buildings as far away as Tokyo shook with force, causing fires, damage and injuries. The earthquake wa s followed by some big aftershocks and a tsunami which tossed boats and cars aro und as if they were children s toys.
