Introduction: The Rel. 3 software Installation CD1 will load the DS150E diagnostics software. The Belkin Bluetooth software installs from a separate CD Instructions: Insert the Delphi Installation CD into the CD Rom drive. Select Start >> RUN and browse for the DS150E.exe file from the CD inserted and select OK.
Click OK and the DS150E install will start. Follow the online screen instructions to install the software

Select language required
View system requirements, tick box, then click next
Select product, select country, click Next
Missing
Choose location, click install
Drivers must be installed, click O.K.
Select Install this driver software anyway, click next
When Installation is complete click next
BLUETOOTH INSTALLATION
Bluetooth Installation 1
ATTENTION! If your computer has a Bluetooth facility, please disable it by referring to your hardware manufacturers manual, before installing the Belkin software. The Delphi software is only verified to work with the dongle supplied.
Insert Belkin installation CD into CD drive
Click on Run BelkinBluetooth.exe
DO NOT insert Belkin Dongle until asked to do so

Click Install Software and then click next
If your computer has a previous version of Widcomm software installed, this box will appear, click O.K.
Insert Belkin Dongle into USB port at this point, then click next
Click to accept terms, then click next

When complete click next

The Bluetooth dongle needs to be setup and the DS150E hardware needs to be paired with the Bluetooth dongle, click the arrow icon to open the box, then click the Bluetooth icon.
Click Open Settings

Click options
UNTICK this box

Click add a device

Dongle will search all devices in range NOTE if device has already been loaded it will NOT be displayed below
Select Delphi device, click next

Click Enter the devices pairing code, then clicknext
Enter 0, then click next
To verify comport click on Devices and Printers
Select hardware
Note comport
Open Delphi DS150E software, click on settings, then hardware setup

Select Automatic then click Search Icon, if automatic search fails select manually

1 Click on toolbox icon

Delphi PSS 40

Ensure that com port is identical to the port quoted in page 39, if not select the correct port from the drop down menu. Bluetooth configuration is then complete. Click OK, or update to update firmware .

Click search to find VCI
A successful connection will result in the comport number, serial number of the VCI and firmware version being displayed
After connection for the first time the firmware should be updated, follow the on-screen instructions
When completed click O.K.
