Editing date: 10TH November Location: Oaks Park High School Editing Suite Members Present: Adi Mohamed Naim Heerah Editing Start Time: 5:35pm Editing: Log and transferred clips onto editing file Problem Occurred: The export settings was incorrect, which resulted in errors through the log and transfer How I resolved the problem: Approached Mr. Assegai about the problem; he corrected the settings on Final Cut Pro. After this I completed the Log and transfer and finished editing for the day. Problems occurred: The sound was out of sync with the video How I resolved the problem: After playing about a little bit with Final Cut, I found out that Link butt on was not selected. This meant that Final cut was not automatically keeping video with sound when we moved the clip. After ensuring this button was selected I continued on editing and cutting the clips we wanted. Finished editing 10:30am Editing date: 15th November Location: Oaks Park High School Editing Suite Members Present: Adi Mohamed Naim Heerah Nikunj Mandalia Editing Start Time: 3:10pm Editing: Cutting and cropping clips in order of our sequence and ensuring sound effects was adequate. Problem Occurred: Not enough footage of one particular scene where Jodie is turning around to get pistol whipped by Chucky. This was a major problem as this scene was very dramatic and more footage was needed to ensure that it looked good How I resolved the problem: Instructed Naim Heerah to get the camera and simply record the Point of view shots that were needed. I then continued on editing the footage we had until 6:20pm

Editing date: 17th November Location: Oaks Park High School Editing Suite Members Present: Adi Mohamed Editing Start Time: 2:10pm Editing: Began playing around with the colour corrector 3 way to improve the resolution Problem Occurred: Could not work out how to get the scary but realistic resolution for the sequences How I resolved the problem: I gained some tips from a student in the year above who showed me how the colour corrector works and also told made me realise it would be better if the different clips had slight changes in colour depending on the brightness of the clip. Finished editing at 3:15pm Editing date: 19th November Location: Oaks Park High School Editing Suite Members Present: Adi Mohamed Editing Start Time: 2:10pm Editing: Adding sound effects to video Problem Occurred: Major problem we the sound quality. There was a lot of pauses and thumping How I resolved the problem: I noticed that this problem only occurred with sounds that were downloaded using YouTube to mp3. As a result I had to use sound effects that were already on the computer. Finished editing at 4:40pm

This meant that it was especially hard to find space to add credits How I resolved the problem: This meant that I had to change a bit of the opening sequence to make space for titles and credits. Finished editing at 4:30pm I then exported the video and ensured that it was regularly checked over by other members to make sure it was flawless.
