How to work with GSM-B2B

Introduction
GSM-B2B is a very helpful tool to handle a traders everyday challenges. But it will only be useful if you
know how to work with it. This How to was written to introduce you to several possibilities given to
achieve maximum benefit by using GSM-B2B. Not all functions need to be used, but there are 3 to 4
important ones you should be aware of.
GSM-B2B has an easy understandable and reasoned structure. You will get used to it in no time. If there is
more information on a function, it will be marked with a ?at the platform.

1.00 Main menu

1.01 Login
After entering your user name and password you have access to the main menu.

If you ever forgot you password you could use the Forgot password button to get a new one. After
pushing that button you will receive an e-mail with a link of confirmation. Reconfirm this link and you will
obtain a new password.

After logging in successfully, you will have access to the main menu, which is located on the left side.

1.02 I am looking
You can publish your requests here:
Fields marked with a * must be filled
in: products, manufacturer, model,
currency, etc.. The others can be left out,
but the more information is given, the
easier is it to find a matching trading
partner.
For example, you can mention your
asking price or more detailed
information on what you are looking for. By choosing
Show in following regions you can limit where your
request should be visible. Some fields have an auto-filling
in. This setting can be changed in My B2B My
preferences.
Additional information can be entered in Comment. We
recommend writing the comment in the languages of your
selected regions
Choosing the option Automatically daily update this
posting, the posting will be updated daily and
automatically. This is very comfortable, but you should be
sure about using this function. The longer a posting is
online, the less attention it will attract.

When all fields are filled in, push the Post online now
button and your request will be published.

1.03 I sell
This function is only available for customers
of our Sell and buy services. It has the same
structure as I am looking, but here you post
an offer.

1.04 My postings
After a posting you will be lead to the menu My postings automatically.

Here you have a list of all your postings (offers, requests). The traffic lights show the current status of the
posting: green active, yellow coming to a stop soon, red came to a stop or deleted (means this posting
is no longer visible for other users). You can control more than one posting at the same time by using the
group function. If you want to change, delete, copy or stop a posting, use the individual function on the
right.

1.05 Show matches
After publishing a new posting, appropriate
matches will be displayed here. This function
saves you a lot of time and gives you a chance
to find a trading partner within a few seconds.

1.06 My bookmarks
Postings you highlighted with a bookmark while
searching for products, can be managed here.

1.07 Traders Gallery

All visible traders are listed in our Traders
Gallery. This is GSM-B2B main site. With the
information here you can approach every
trader or have a look on their postings.

Besides the home country of a trader you get

information on his ID, which can be used for
searching or sorting at GSM-B2B.

In addition you have the chance to value other traders. You can update your valuation again and again
the old one will be overwritten.
Next to the traders name on the left are valuations
about him: positive/ neutral/ negative. A click on them
makes the detailed valuation visible. This was you can
get a first impression of a trader level one of GSM
security system.
The green spot next to the valuations means a
recommendation by GSM-B2B administration. This is level two of GSM-B2B security system.

Level three of GSM-B2B security system is our

background information on our customers.
You can ask one of our service staff for more
detailed information on a trader, before
entering a business relationship.

searching.

Displays all traders, you added to your

A list of traders who are online in that
moment.

In the Traders gallery you can search for traders via Search traders by establishing criteria like company,
names, address, etc. In addition to it you can search for favorites, recommended traders (those who have a
green spot), or even traded products and much more.

post notes here.
Create new notice
opens a menu with an
equal structure as I am
looking or I sell. You can post your message as a normal
text or to improve the general overview as an HTMLcode.

You saw those windows before at I am looking or I sell.

Here you have varying viewpoints and the possibility to

choose locations of visibility.

Here you can add a picture to your notice, which will be

displayed on the notice board.

In this menu you can manage and answer B2B messages. Unread messages
are located on top. To be on the safe side B2B messages are sent via e-mail as
well.

This area is the main board of GSM-B2B. Most options can be checked or changed here.
