Fold in half lengthways and sew edges together.

Attach the safety eyes along with the white crocheted
eyes, position them so there is a small gap between the
whites of the eyes. Start to stuff the body.

Making Up
Sew on the white eyes you attached earlier
around the edges onto the body. Using pins
position the eyebrows at an angle just slightly
over the top of the whites of the eyes and sew
them on around the edges. Lightly stuff the beak
and sew onto the body directly under the middle
of both eyes. Position the white belly under the
beak, secure it with pins to keep its position and
sew it around the edge onto the body. Stuff the
head feathers and sew these on the top centre of
the head. For the three tail feathers make sure
you fold them in half lengthways and sew edges
together if you havent done this earlier. Then sew
these onto the back bottom half of the birds body.
