Shop Drawings: One complete set of prints and sepias of shop drawings on all signs, mounting and related details shall be submitted to SAUDI ARAMCO and no work shall be done on signage fabrication until written instruction to proceed is provided by SAUDI ARAMCO.

MATERIALS A. Building signs shall be constructed of suitable metallic components to withstand high temperatures, resist sun (UV), fading and deterioration, and wind driven sand blasting.

DESCRIPTION

Exterior room signs shall be aluminum panels with vinyl graphics on plaque. Interior room signs shall be assembled from the MSS 0.5 sign system. SIGNAGE GRAPHIC CRITERIA A. Type Face: The standard type face shall be Basrah bold letters, Arabic font. Numbers shall be Bagdad in accordance with Saudi Aramco Standard Sign Program. All type is to be photo screened from original art which is at least 50% of the final size. Letter size shall be determined by the vertical, straight, unaccented initial letter form. B. Symbols: Directional arrow forms shall be sized and oriented as indicated on plans. Color of arrows & backgrounds shall be decided by SAUDI ARAMCO Representative. Symbols shall be photo screen printed from artwork which is at least 50% of the final required size.
