Please read the man page for the rpm command that comes ith your distribution and select the options that best apply to your situation. 3nstalling indi"idual components is the same as abo"e but only re%uires the specific module be installed. For e,ample: install all core rpms and then install those for each module you ish: such as: openoffice.org*impress*". . *1.i=>?.rpm to install only 3mpress. )ther modules may also be necessary.
Note: Jou may substitute *i3+ for *U3+ in any of the abo"e commands to install ithout upgrading. Note: 3f you ha"e a system that does not ha"e an upNtoNdate rpm or if rpm installation fails: try to use the **nodeps flag to install "ia rpm ithout ha"ing the dependent packages in the rpm database.
