2013 has been a year of tremendous changes, growth and excitement.

Throughout the year Jana, my wife, and I had to adapt and expand our capacities like never before. Here is what we did: - I started working in collaboration with Every Nation, a church that focuses on missional discipleship. My roles consisted of preaching, teaching, singing and stratigising with a wonderful group of God-honouring individuals. It culminated in us planting a new church in February. This also meant that we only had four free weekends this year, but it was so rewarding! - Jana co-created a company called DisMosCreative which opened a range of wonderful opportunities for her production house, Duck Soup Productions. This year saw her winning numerous awards for her short film SMILE. Unfortunately DisMosCreative came to an end this month but the relationships and Duck Soup are stronger than ever. - This year saw me also get behind the scenes of the Gospel Music Industry producing and co-producing numerous worship and God honouring CDs and DVDs. It also gave me the honour of working with people like Verna Vels,

Riaan Cruywagen, The Soweto String Quartet, Leza Liversage and Retief Burger. - I also learned the power of relational discipleship and had the honour of discipling a group of people and equipping them to disciple others. I am so proud of them and the fact that their disciples are already engaging others. My prayer is that they get to expierience a intimate and relational Christ. One thing that stuck out most to me this year is this. One cannot serve to masters at once. One cannot serve God and money. One cannot serve God and power. One cannot serve God and sex. Time and money equals worship. What you spend the most on in time and money, is the thing you worship most. 2014 holds new surprises and challenges. We are aiming for a new addition to our family and hoping that Janas business also grows and expands....maybe a feature film? Only time will tell. Happy New Year to you all.
