1 Call Functions

1.1 How Can I Silence the Ringtone and Not Hang Up the Incoming Call?
Touch to the Silent button to silence the ringtone.
1.3 During a Call, How Can I Mute and Unmute the Call?
Through muting or unmuting, the microphone of the phone can be switched off or switched on. To prevent your voice from being heard by the other party, you can mute the call.
Mute a call, you can do by the following steps: Step 1: During a call, touch to the unlock button. Step 2: Touch to the left soft key to display the option menu. Step 3: Select Mute menu to mute the call.

In this case, you need to activate the call waiting service. After the call waiting service is activated, if there is a new incoming call when you are on another call, you can hear the alert tone. Then, you can do by the following steps: Step 1: Touch to the unlock button.

Step 2: Touch to the Answer button or press the answer key to answer the new incoming call and hold the ongoing call, or press the end key to continue the ongoing call and reject the new incoming call.
Press the answer key to switch between the two calls, that is, hold the ongoing call and unhold the held call. Press the end key to end the ongoing call and keep the held call. Press the left soft key to display the option menu, and then select End all calls to end both calls.
To set or change a speed dial number, select Main menu > Contacts > Options menu > Phonebook Settings > Speed dial > Set numbers, and then select a number key from 2 to 9. After a speed dial number is assigned to a number key, to dial the speed dial number, press and hold the number key in standby mode.

3 SMS
3.1 How Can I View and Set the SMSC?
The SC address option is used to save the Short Message Service Center (SMSC) number (consult the network operator for the number). You can send messages only after the SMSC number is set. To set the SMSC number, select Main menu > Messaging > Message settings > Text message > Profile settings > Profile settings > Profile 1 > Options menu > Edit, and then enter the SMSC number provided by the network operator.
3.2 When Editing a Text Message, How Can I Switch Between Text Input Methods?
To switch between text input methods, you can tap the button of the text input method at the bottom of the text input screen.
3.5 How Can I Query the Free Space of the Memory for Saving Text Messages?

When the alarm clock rings, you can press the left soft key or the end key to stop it, or press any other keys (except the left soft key and the end key) to snooze it for five minutes (the time can be set by users). The alarm clock can be snoozed for 10 times before it automatically stops.

After the radio searches for channels automatically, on the radio screen, you can press the left or right navigation key to adjust the frequency accurately. You can also select Options menu by pressing the left soft key, and then select Auto Search.

For the optimal effect, the battery should be charged for at least 12 hours for the first time. Do not charge the battery continuously for more than 24 hours.

The battery power can be affected by calling, adjusting backlight, and setting time. As the talk time increases, the standby time shortens. In an area without signal, the standby time is shorter than the standard standby time. The battery performance varies with the charging status, temperature, condition of the local wireless batteries, and backlight status.

2.1 What Are the Environmental Requirements for Using the Phone?
Use the phone in an environment with the temperature from 10C to +55C and the humidity from 5% to 95%. When you use the phone, be away from common telephones, TVs, radios, and other automatic office devices, preventing the phone performance from getting affected by the devices.

Do not press the keys by using sharp objects, such as needles and pens. Otherwise, it may damage the phone or unintentional operations may be performed. Keep the phone away from a damp environment. If water or other liquids enter the phone, overheating, electric leakage, or other faults can be caused to the phone. Clean the phone, battery, and charger by using a soft and dry cloth. Do not clean the phone by using chemical agents, such as alcohol, diluent, and benzene. Before inserting or removing the SIM card, power off the phone. Otherwise, the memory of the SIM card can be damaged.

3.1 What Are the Environmental Requirements for Using the Charger?
Do not charge the phone in the following environments:

Place near electrical appliances, such as TVs and radios (otherwise, video or sound can be adversely affected.)
When charging the phone, use the specified AC current of the charger. Otherwise, electric leakage, fires, or damage to the phone and the charger can be caused. Do not short-circuit the charger. Ensure that your SIM card is properly installed. If the SIM card is still not identified, you can infer that the SIM card is faulty. In this case, contact your network service provider for help.
Check the signal strength indicator of your phone. If there is no network signal, you may be in a basement or in an area that is not covered by the network. You can move to an area that has better network coverage.
