Nelson Central School – Combine d Schools Swimming Sports 2009

Last week a team of 27 Totara syndicate students were selected to represent Nelson Central at the Combined Schools
Swimming Sports held at Hampden Street Pool. Schools participating were Clifton Terrace, St Josephs, Victory, Hira,
Auckland Point and Hampden Street.
For many it was their first experience competing in an inter-school event and they coped admirably.
The team performed extremely well. Congratulations to all on such a suburb effort and for your wonderful social skills.
A big thank you to all the parents/caregivers who transported the swimmers to the event and to those who provided great
support to the team at the event.
A number of swimmers made the finals for their events. Congratulations to the following swimmers for their
