Euphrates River to Be Dried Up
IN REVELATiON 16:12, the bible predicts that the euphrates river will be dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the East to invade Israel. This will happen at the time of the battle of Armageddon according to verse 16 of the same chapter. The battle of Armageddon will be the final battle during which Jesus will return and fight on the side of the nation of Israel. Immediately thereafter He will establish His kingdom and usher in His one-thousand year reign of peace. On January 13, 1990, the Indianapolis Star carried the headline Turkey Will Cut Off Flow of Euphrates for One Month. The article stated that a huge reservoir had been built by Turkey. While filling up the reservoir, the flow of the Euphrates would be stopped for one month and a concrete plug for a diversion channel built. These things have now been done. With this newly built dam, Turkey has the ability to stop the Euphrates River at will. The conditions for fulfilling this 1,900-year-old prophecy are now in place.

any of the major prophecies of the Bible were given in dreams. As we are now watching those prophecies come to pass, sometimes it almost seems like we are dreaming. When I realize that a system is being set up in America within the next two years where a person will not be able to buy or sell without a national ID card and a social security number, I find myself thinking, Is this really happening? Ive heard about this prophecy all of my life. Am I really watching it come to pass? Or am I dreaming? I heard with my own ears Rabbi Chaim Richman say that Israel has a qualified red heifer that is now old enough for the sacrifice that will enable the building of Israels Third Temple. Is this really happening, or am I dreaming? When the email came in June of 2005 announcing the Sanhedrins decision to proceed with the building of the temple, I had to read it the second time. There hasnt been a Jewish temple since 70 AD. Ive heard about Israel building her temple on the Temple Mount for so long. Ive looked forward to this prophetic fulfillment for so long. Am I really about to see it happen? Or am I dreaming? Watching Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert travel from the U.S. to Cairo, to Jordan, to London and to France for the announced purpose of asking the international community to support the establishment of the final borders of the nation of Israel was almost a surreal experience. Am I actually watching the confirmation of the covenant? Am I getting ready to see that 2,600-year-old prophecy fulfilled that will mark the beginning of the final seven years to Armageddon and the Second Coming? Or am I dreaming? First of all, I dont know why you sent me this email [about REAL ID & NoNationalID.com] because I live in England and dont vote in the USA. I think the Americans have bigger problems than ID cards, which are also in the House of Commons over here. Secondly, I think if youve got nothing to hide, why not have one? Ive got nothing to hide, so If Tony Blair wants to know where Im going or where Ive been, fine. Im not hiding anything. Why are you so scared of a card? It will help fight against terrorism, and that cant be a bad thing. Helen Snowball

our email; however, I am glad that you did. The same conditions that are developing in the United States are coincidentally developing in Great Britain. As a matter of fact, Tony Blair and George Bush have laid their plans together to initiate an ID card in both of our nations. The purpose for the ID card is control. They cannot keep track of everything you do, every dollar you make, where you spend it, who you talk to and where you go unless they have your number in a database.
You know full well that the objection brought up in the House of Lords against the ID in Great Britain is that people will have all of their information in a national database. We have heard the argument many times, If you are doing nothing wrong, why do you care? Let me ask the question this way. If Adolph Hitler were ruling Great Britain right now, would you want him to know everything about you or would you prefer to be anonymous? The purpose of the ID card is more than knowing what you are doing. It is having the ability to control you. Control is the opposite of freedom. Control is slavery. The United States government was built on government of the people, by the people, and for the people. We are now migrating to government of the government, by the government, and for the government. We are merely numbers, pawns in the governments bigger global program. More importantly, the Bible prophesies a time when every person will be given a number without which they will not be able to buy or sell. We will not be able to buy or sell without our national ID card and the attached social security number. The Bible prophesies this numbering system will ultimately culminate in
the total enslavement of the worldpolitically, spiritually and economically. If you believe the Bible, (and by the way, it was written before any of this could have occurred), then you realize how terrible the coming tyranny will be. That is the reason we are against it. The level of control that our government is now asserting over every individual is laying the groundwork for the coming reign of the Antichrist. One more time, if Hitler ruled Great Britain right now, would you like for him to have the total control that is presently being enacted in Great Britain? If not, then you need to get rid of the National ID card because Hitler is coming to Great Britain. Only his name wont be Hitler. The coming ruler of Europe and ultimately of the world will be the biblical Antichrist. He is alive right now, and we will be living under his regime soon.

I can certainly understand why we would not want these ID cards, but I cannot help but wonder if we really should be taking a stance against them. If they are part of prophecy and what God says MUST happen before Christs return, then why would I or could I dare to take

Reply| If God said that America must fall
under the reign of the Antichrist and the mark of the beast, then it would certainly be futile to try to stop it. However, the Bible does not say that. The Bible does specifically prophesy concerning Europe. Great Britain is symbolized by the lion, and Russia is symbolized by the bear. Both of these nations are depicted in the combined beast of Revelation 13:1-2, which portrays the endtime world government of the Antichrist. However, the eagles wings used to portray America in Daniel 7:4 are not included in the world government beast of Revelation 13. Furthermore, there is biblical evidence that some nations will resist the reign of the Antichristeven during the final three and one-half years. In Daniel 11:31, the abomination of desolation occurs. This is the event that signals the beginning of the final three and one-half years prior to Armageddon. After verse 31, there are at least two wars fought by the Antichrist. In verse 44 it says, But
tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. So the Antichrist, during the final three and one-half years, will still be fighting wars. That means he has opposition on a national level. Who will be opposing him? We know two nations for certain. In verse 41 of chapter 11, the scripture says that Edom, Moab and the children of Ammon shall escape out of his hand. Edom is in the southern part of the nation of Jordan. The Moab Mountains are in Jordan, and Ammon refers to Amman, Jordan, the nations capital. We know from this prophecy that the country of Jordan will never come under the power of the Antichrist. Jordan has been very skilled at straddling the fence in Middle Eastern politics for many years. It appears she will succeed until the end. We also know that Israel will never fall under the reign of the Antichrist. If Israel were cooperating with the Antichrist during the Great Tribulation, there would be no need for an invasion of Israel by the Antichrist at the time of Armageddon. The only reason for an invasion is because the Antichrist is not in
control, and Israel is not operating in harmony with him. So we see that the Antichrist is not going to control Israel during the great tribulation. Since we know that Israel is not going to be under the Antichrists control, doesnt it seem plausible that Israels best friend, the U.S., may also be in opposition to the Antichrist and his world government? Israel and the United States regularly are forced to stand together against the world at the United Nations. Daniel 11:44 says, But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. America is from the north, and we now control Iraq, which is due east of Israel. I cannot prove conclusively America will not implement the mark of the beast, but I do know that the Antichrist will have opposition on a national level. If there is any possibility that America will not side with the Antichrist, I certainly want to do everything in my power to stop it. Could we be a harbor of safety in the coming storm? A place of light in the encroaching darkness? I believe this is possible, and that is the reason Endtime Ministries is working night and day

Dear Irvin and friends, I am a regular listener to your program, and I was shocked by the statement of one of your guests. He was on the program on 6/12, and he stated that pacifism was not part of true Christianity. He also stated that true Christians need to take up arms against Islam in a new crusade. He based his statements off of Luke 22:38, and the practices of the Catholic Church during the Middle Ages. This view is totally at odds with the witness of the New Testament. We are told that we struggle not against flesh and blood, and that this world is not overcome with arms but by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. Jesus Christ himself never took up arms, but instead laid down his life for us all. The cause of Christ has never been advanced on the edge of the sword, but by the blood of the martyrs. It seems that your guest has decided to adopt the ideology and practices of radical Islam rather than take up his cross and follow the example of Christ. During the Middle Ages they also declared people who read the Bible for themselves as heretics. Let us not fall into that kind of darkness again. Irvin, I know that you cannot be a proponent of a new armed crusade. Please let your listeners know that it is not an option for those who put their faith in Christ alone. Joshua Davis

How have the merchants of the earth become rich through the abundance of her luxury? 2. Where did you find the meaning of the word Vatican as being sorcerer? I cant find that definition. 3. How does Revelation 18:11 relate to Rome? Who are the merchants from whom no one is buying anymore? Rome is not a large economic center is it? 4. I looked at him in astonishment and said, What did you say? He said, Yes, the word Vatican means the hill of the fortune tellers and the soothsayers. That is what it was called before the Roman Catholic Church owned it. When they purchased it, they thought to change the name, but then they never did. They just left it as is. So, that came from my Roman Catholic guide. The answer to your third question is the same as the answer to your first question. Rome is at the heart and center of the European Union, which will soon be the most powerful trading block on earth. Revelation 17:18 states that the City of Seven Hills rules over the kings of the earth. If you understand the Holy Roman Empire, you know that Charlemagne was crowned emperor of the Holy Roman Empire by Pope Leo III in 800 A.D. Since that time, the kings of the earth have depended on the support of the pope in order to maintain their rule over the peoples of Europe. Even Napoleon in the early 1800s planned to go to Rome to be crowned by the Pope. At the last moment they had a falling out and that never took place. In the early 1950s, the Roman Catholic Church passed a Canon law that the Pope has the right to guide the political thinking of any and all of its members. It is a cardinal teaching of the Roman Church that spiritual should rule over temporal.

Dear Mr. Baxter, I was writing to let you know that I work for a man employed by the government. He travels around the world to create programs and systems that teach other countries how to run taxation systems like the US. He has been asked to do Afghanistan and Iraq, but declined. He has gone to Morocco, Turkey, Portugal, Hungary, and I believe Belize
dealing with the criminal element continually. However, your letter points out the fallacy of your argument. When all of us are given ID cards with our numbers to control us, the only people that will not be under control are the criminals. Honest Americans will not be willing to lie or to counterfeit ID cards. The criminal element will always be there. Within the last two days a story appeared that a man walked into the headquarters of Homeland Security with a false ID that he had paid $20 for. Homeland Security was terribly embarrassed that he was able to get in. He revealed to them what he had done. He did it to demonstrate to them how ineffective their ID system really is. When all guns are confiscated, only criminals will have guns. When all people are required to have IDs, then criminals will have false IDs. Any ID that can be made by man, can be duplicated by man. The national ID is not going to protect us from the criminal element. It will only serve to enslave the nation and take us into a police state. If you are for that, then I am astonished! Im curious. Would you favor requiring everyone to have a computer chip injected under the skin? Its my understanding that this would be the most foolproof form of ID. n

About 787 Chinese ballistic missiles now target Taiwan. Chen expects a showdown by 2015.

The European Commission will recommend that Romania and Bulgaria join the EU at the beginning of next year, urging both countries to make further reforms so they dont miss out on cash aid when joining the bloc.
MIDDLE EAST WATCH

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert plans to transfer some neighborhoods in Jerusalem to Hamas to strengthen the city. Not all the Arab neighborhoods will be part of the city in the future. Olmert said. He told the Knesset that the division of the land is Zionisms lifeline. Some Israelis think that dividing Jerusalem would be sacrilegious. But Olmert argues that it is not a division, but a sharing arrangementan idea put forward at the 2000 peace talks at Camp David.

Iran threatens to target Israel if the U.S. does anything evil. The Islamic Republic does not recognize Israel as a nation, and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said repeatedly that Israel should be wiped off the map. War games testing new missiles and torpedoes were designed to threaten disruption of Gulf oil shipping lanes if Iran is attacked.

Many in the Bush administration still think that military confrontation with Iran is inevitable. The tone in Washington reflects Vice President Dick Cheneys belief that diplomatic efforts will soon come to naught and Washington will have to use force against Tehran to stop development of nuclear weapons. The UN Security Council adopted a statement urging Iran to abandon its uranium enrichment activities, which Tehran has rejected.

he Bible prophesies the building of the Jewish temple on the Temple Mount shortly before the Second Coming of Jesus. The temple will be built just before the beginning of the final three and one-half years that immediately precede the Battle of Armageddon. Jewish teaching holds that this temple cannot be built until Israel has a qualified red heifer of the third year. This heifer must be sacrificed to cleanse the people of Israel from contact with a dead body. Old Testament scriptures forbade a person from going into the sanctuary of the Lord after having contact with a dead body. Anyone that dared go up to the house of the Lord in a state of impurity was to be cut off from the congregation. The only way that a person could be cleansed from contact with a dead body is described in Numbers 19. An unblemished red heifer of the third year had to be offered, her body burned and her ashes mingled in water. The person seeking pu-

rification then had to wash in this mixture and remain unclean for seven days. After this, he was pronounced clean and was then able to go up to the house of the Lord. Because Israel has not had the ashes of a red heifer since 70 AD, many religious Jews dont believe they are qualified to go up to the house of the Lord. This is why many of them have not lobbied for the building of Israels Third Temple. They dont feel they are allowed by scripture to go there to begin building.

On May 4, 2006, I was leading our annual prophecy tour in Israel. Rabbi Chaim Richman, Executive Director of the Temple Institute, came to the Grand Court Hotel to speak to our group of 93 people. Rabbi Richman is a member of the newly reborn 70-member Sanhedrin and has been the driving force behind the construction of the furniture (now completed) needed for the resumption of temple ministry.
As Rabbi Richman spoke to our group, I admit I was not fully prepared for the bombshell that he dropped on us. The question was asked by one of our tour members, Rabbi Richman, what about the red heifer? Are there any prospects on the horizon? Rabbi Richman disclosed matter-of-factly, Actually, we now have a red heifer. She is three and one-half years old. This is the first red heifer weve had since the Second Temple era that ended in 70 A.D. Richman went on to inform us that the location of this red heifer is presently being kept secret because of the huge frenzy that was unleashed a few years ago when it was disclosed that religious leaders thought they had a qualified red heifer. That incident occurred back in May of 1997. The red heifers name was Melody. Hope soared among religious Jews that this was the red heifer that would cleanse them from contact with a dead body and open the way for the building of Israels Third Temple. They believed this would usher in the mes-

sianic era when their Messiah would be revealed. The news of Melody hit the major news streams, and the story spread like wildfire. One magazine had a red heifer on its front cover with the caption, The Cow that Could Blow up the World. The story stated that, if Israel did accomplish the successful sacrificing of a red heifer and if Jews became cleansed from contact with a dead body, it could produce a movement to begin the building of Israels Third Temple on the Temple Mount. Reporters speculated that such a development would result in WW III. They contended that Muslims worldwide would converge on the Temple Mount to stop the desecration of the place, which they consider Islams third holiest site. The furor blew over when Jewish leaders announced that Melody had developed a few white hairs in her tail and was not considered qualified for sacrifice and the cleansing from ritual impurity. Until Richmans disclosure on May 4, information about a possible red heifer had pretty much dried up. Questions surfaced from time to time, but it was assumed that Israel had no red heifer. Now she does! The heifer has been pronounced qualified by the rabbis, and she is old enough to be offered today!

So when will this red heifer be offered? Does she have to be offered before she turns four years old, as some scriptures seem to indicate? If so, this will have to happen within the next five months. We have asked that question of Rabbi Richman and have not yet received an answer. However, it appears that the religious community in Israel intends to go forward at full speed. In June 2005, the Sanhedrin announced that it was time to build the temple and that they were going to begin. The question immediately came to mind: How can they build the temple? Their government wont even allow them to pray on the Temple Mount due to fear of offending Muslim sensibilities. The communiqu disclosing the Sanhedrins intention to rebuild stated that they would prefabricate the temple off-site like Solomon built the First Temple almost three thousand years ago. That explained everything. They intend to prepare the temple off-site and then assemble when the political situation allows. We dont yet know whether the physical rebuilding of the Jewish temple has actually begun, but we do know that
The prophecies of the Bible state that a temple will be standing three and onehalf years before the Battle of Armageddon and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. In Revelation 11:1-2, John was told to measure the temple but to not measure the outer court because it would be trodden down of the Gentiles for 42 months. This depicts the temple under Jewish control and the outer court of the temple, where the Dome of the Rock now stands, under Gentile control. This scripture prophesies that the Temple Mount will be under a sharing arrangement. At the Camp David peace talks in 2000, President Bill Clinton proposed the sharing of the Temple Mount. Since that time, a consensus has emerged among world leaders that sharing is the only possible solution to the dispute over the worlds most disputed 35 acres. There is another prophecy that indicates the temple will be standing three and onehalf years before Armageddon. It is found in II Thessalonians 2:3-4. In speaking of the revealing of the Antichrist who is called the Man of Sin or the Son of Perdition in this passage, the Apostle Paul said that this Man of Sin would exalt himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped so that he would sit in the temple of God and claim to be God. Obviously, the temple has to be standing before this can occur. We also know from scripture that, once the temple is built, animal sacrifices will be resumed. We know this because Daniel 9:27 teaches us that the Antichrist will cause the sacrifice and the oblation to stop. Of course, the Antichrist cant stop sacrifices that are not ongoing. Daniel 11:31 also prophesies the stopping of the sacrifices by the Antichrist. Here is the likely scenario: The temple is completed a year or so before the beginning of the final three and one-half years preceding Armageddon. The sacrifices begin. World opinion against the sacrifices escalates rapidly. The animal rights activists demonstrate worldwide, and world leaders are flooded with demands that the daily sacrifice of animals be stopped. The Antichrist, who will be emerging onto the world scene at that time, feels forced to deal with the situation. Since he has taken a leading role in bringing about the agreement that paved the way for the building of the temple, rumors are abounding
that perhaps this man is the Jewish messiah. The stage is set perfectly. The Antichrist announces that the rumors circulating about his being the messiah are true. In fact, he confessesI am not only the Jewish Messiah; I am also the fifth Buddha, the Muslims 12th Imam and the Christians Christ. Since I am here as your Messiah, you wont need to offer these sacrifices any more. He orders that the sacrifices be stopped, and according to II Thessalonians 2:4, he stands in the temple of God claiming to be God. The same prophecy is found in Daniel 11:36.
THE cOW THAT cOULD BLOW UP THE WORLD?
Back to the red heifer. Is the red heifer, which exists in Israel at this moment, the cow that will pave the way for the rebuilding of Israels Third Temple? All prophetic indicators seem to say that she is. Other events that are prophesied to happen shortly before the final three and one-half years are happening right now. They include: 1} An international peace plan for the Middle East (Daniel 9:27)Roadmap for Peace reaffirmed on September 20, 2005. 2} The prophesied war along the Euphrates River (Rev 9:13-16)in progress in Iraq. 3} The future slaughter in Judea (the West Bank) spoken of by Jesus (Mat 24:15-21)being set up by Israels promised withdrawal from the Judea by 2008. 4} Human beings to receive a number in order to buy or sell (Revelation 13:1518)Americans must have an ID card by May 11, 2008 in order to buy or sell. 5} Emergence of a world government (Revelation 13:7)Globalization, World Trade Organization, World Health Organization, WorldBank,WorldCourt,WorldCommunity. When we add all these prophetic developments to the appearance of an approved red heifer and the decision to begin building the temple, the fact that we have entered the endgame of the endtime becomes undeniable. Exactly where are we on Gods endtime prophetic timetable? We cant say with absolute certainty right now. It is obvious however that we are getting very close to the time that Jesus called the Great Tribulation. n

The Event that Begins the Final 7 Years

ISRAELI PRIME MINISTER EHUD OLMERT has clearly stated that the number one goal of his administration is to establish the final borders of the nation of Israel with the support of the international community. Simply stated, his number one goal is bringing about the confirmation of the covenant!
he confirmation of the covenant occurs at a specific time seven years before the Battle of Armageddon. If we can understand this event, we can know where we are on Gods prophetic timeline. Some have been of the opinion that it is by Gods design that his people be left in the dark concerning the time of His coming. They say that Jesus is coming as a thief in the night, and therefore we will not be able to establish any definite reference points to understand the time of His Second Coming. Is this teaching scriptural? The Bible does teach that the coming of the Lord will be as a thief in the night for some; however, it also teaches that His coming will not be as a thief for others. The passage is 1 Thessalonians 5:1-5, But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. The same passage that teaches the coming of the Lord will come as a thief in the night to those who live in darkness also says that it will not be as a thief in the night to those who are the children of light. So, obviously, it is not Gods will for His children to be in the dark. Furthermore, if God did not intend for

anyone to understand what the confirmation of the covenant is and when it will occur, why did He put a prophecy in the scriptures about it, and why did He include the exact timing of when it will happen? He obviously wanted us to know.
WHAT IS THE cONFIRMATION OF THE cOvENANT?
In order to understand this event that will occur seven years before Armageddon, lets look at the prophecy about it in Daniel 9:27, And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. There are six things in this passage that we must know if we are to understand this prophecy: 1. Who is he? 2. How long is one week? 3. What is the abomination of desolation? 4. What is meant by causing the sacrifice to cease? 5. What is the covenant? 6. What is the confirming of the covenant? Since this is such an important prophecy for the times immediately ahead, it is critical that we take the time to thoroughly understand what is meant by each of these terms.
WHO IS HE?
tion of desolation, then we know who the he is that confirms the covenant. Daniel 11:30-32 clearly tells us that it is the Antichrist who does these two things. For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant. And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. We know this passage is speaking of the Antichrist because, in verse 36, he exalts himself above every god and speaks marvelous words against the God of gods. This is the exact description given of the Antichrist in 2 Thessalonians 2:4. So the he that confirms the covenant is the Antichrist.
HOW LONG IS ONE WEEK?
The he in Daniel 9:27 does three things according to the passage. He confirms the covenant, takes away the daily sacrifice, and places the abomination of desolation. Therefore, if we know who takes away the daily sacrifice and places the abomina-
The phrase one week refers to a week of years or a seven-year period. Several translations of this passage actually render this phrase one seven instead of one week. We know for certain one week refers to seven years because of the following reasons. Daniel 9:27 teaches that the abomination of desolation occurs in the middle of the week. According to the words of Jesus in Matthew 24:15-21, it is the abomination of desolation that marks the beginning of the great tribulation. Five different scriptures say that the great tribulation will last for three and one-half years (Daniel 9:27, Revelation 13:5, Revelation 12:6, Revelation 12:14, Daniel 12:1, 6-7). Knowing these things, we can conclude that the last half of the seventieth week is three and one-half years. If the last half of the week equals three and one-half years, then the entire week would obviously equal seven years.
WHAT IS MEANT BY cAUSING THE SAcRIFIcE TO cEASE?
In Revelation 11:1-2, John was told to measure the temple of God, but to not measure the outer court because it would

be trodden down of the Gentiles for 42 months. This 42 months is the same 42 months spoken of in Revelation 13:5. It states there that power was given unto the beast (the Antichrist) to continue 42 months. This refers to the three and one-half year reign of the Antichrist, also known as the great tribulation. In order for a temple to be measured, there must be a temple standing. We know from this scripture that there will be a temple standing on the Temple Mount when the Antichrist comes to power. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 confirms this. Paul said that the man of sin (the Antichrist) would sit in the temple of God, claiming to be God. The temple spoken of in these two passages is not yet built; however, preparations to build it are far advanced. When it is completed, the daily animal sacrifices as were conducted in Old Testament times will be resumed. As you can imagine, this will result in an uproar by animal rights activists around the world. Daniel 9:27 states that the Antichrist will cause the sacrifice to cease. He will then proceed to commit the abomination of desolation.
WHAT IS THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION?
that the land of Israel would be the homeland of the descendents of Abraham forever. This covenant dominated the dealings of God with the people of Israel throughout the Old Testament and is still the central issue between God and Israel today.
WHAT IS THE cONFIRMING OF THE cOvENANT?
To confirm means to agree with or support. Daniel 9:27 states that the Antichrist will give his support to the Abrahamic covenant. This means that the Antichrist will agree with Israels right to a home in the Holy Land. We know that the nation of Israel was reborn on May 14, 1948. Since that time, the Jewish nation has never lived in peace. Her enemies have continually challenged her right to exist in the land promised to Abraham. Many of them to this hour deny Israels right to exist. However, Daniel 9:27 prophesies a time when the international community and its leader the Antichrist will confirm Israels right to exist. This will be the confirmation of the covenant, and it will mark the beginning of the final seven years to Armageddon.
MOvING TOWARD THE cONFIRMATION NOW
Jesus said the abomination of desolation would stand in the holy place and that this event would signal the beginning of the great tribulation. In 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, the Apostle Paul said that the Man of Sin (the Antichrist) would sit in the temple of God claiming to be God. Please note that the holy place referred to by Jesus was in the temple. According to Paul, the Antichrist standing in the temple claiming to be God marks the revealing of the Antichrist. All other scripture agrees that the reign of the Antichrist begins at the abomination of desolation, three and one-half years before Armageddon (Revelation 13:5). The abomination of desolation is when the Antichrist sits where the real Christ should be sitting and claims to be God. It is when the Antichrist claims to be the ultimate authority over the place that God said, 37 times in the Old Testament, that He would put His name there.
WHAT IS THE cOvENANT?
Once again, what will the confirmation of the covenant look like? It will be when the international community and the leader of the international community, the Antichrist, confirm Israels right to exist in the Holy Land. Will we know who the Antichrist is when the confirmation of the covenant takes place? Probably not. The Antichrist will be revealed three and one-half years later at the time of the abomination of desolation. Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has clearly stated that the number one goal of his administration is to establish the final borders of the nation of Israel with the support of the international community. Simply stated, his number one goal is bringing about the confirmation of the covenant!
UNILATERAL DISENGAGEMENT BREAKING THE cYcLE OF vIOLENcE
The Antichrist will confirm the covenant of Daniel 9:27 for seven years. This refers to the Abrahamic covenant that God made with Abraham and with his children after himthe nation of Israel. The making of this covenant is recorded in Genesis 15:18, In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates. The Abrahamic covenant defined the general borders of the Holy Land and decreed
Events are transpiring in the world right now that seem to be leading straight to the confirmation of the covenant and, consequently, to the beginning of the final seven years to Armageddon. It all began when the Palestinians refused to implement the first step of the international communitys Roadmap for Peace the Middle East peace plan that they had agreed to and signed. The Roadmap called for the Palestinians to disarm and dismantle all terrorist organizations. Mahmoud Abbas claimed that he would precipitate a civil war if he tried to implement this provision of the plan. Consequently, terrorism continued.
Ariel Sharon contended that this unwillingness or inability on the part of the Palestinians demonstrated the fact that Israel did not have a legitimate peace partner. He declared that Israel would not be held hostage to an endless cycle of violence by forces of terrorism just because the other side could not or would not make peace. He presented a new strategy for solving the Middle East conflictthe concept of unilateral disengagement. Sharon contended that, since Israel did not have a serious partner for peace, the only way to end the cycle of violence was for Israel to take unilateral action to establish final borders between themselves and the Palestinians. The first thing necessary for this plan to work was that the borders established had to be reasonable so they could receive the support of the United States and the international community. The second thing needed was a security fence that would effectively guard Israel from the terrorist attacks of the Palestinians after implementation of the unilateral separation plan. In August of 2005, Sharon executed the first phase of his unilateral separation plan with the unilateral withdrawal from Gaza. This bold step won Sharon the favor of the world community and sparked new hope for peace in the Middle East. While withdrawing from Gaza, Israel rapidly built the security wall that would define the border between itself and the anticipated Palestinian state. Sharon let it be known that he planned another unilateral withdrawal from the area of the West Bank (biblical Judea). An understanding had been reached with President George Bush that this withdrawal would not have to include 100 percent of all the territories occupied in the 1967 War. Bush had acknowledged in a letter to Sharon that he understood Israel would have to retain some limited territories around Jerusalem that contained high concentrations of Jewish populations. The next step Sharon took was to leave his own Likud Party in order to establish a new party in Israel that would support his plans for unilateral withdrawal from occupied territories and for unilaterally determining Israels final borders, with or without Palestinian participation. The tide of optimism in Israel rose as Israelis for the first time thought they could see light at the end of their long tunnel of conflict. Even world opinion swung toward Israels favor as nations saw Israel voluntarily withdrawing from territories that had been captured in the 1967 War. Sharon had come full circle from being regarded as a ruthless bulldozer to being viewed as the only viable hope for peace in the Middle East. Just when it looked like nothing could stop the bulldozer, something did. A massive stroke swept

him from the world stage and into a coma from which he has not yet recovered. Sharons deputy, Ehud Olmert, assumed the reigns of power in Israel, vowing to continue Sharons dream of bringing the Middle Eastern conflict to an end and establishing the final borders of the nation of Israel.
ISRAEL vOTES TO LEAvE PART OF PROMISED LAND
The next step is even more vital to our future and to the prospects of finally bringing peace to the Middle East. Success will only be possible with America as an active participant, leading the support of our friends in Europe and across the world. Notice here that Olmert is making his appeal for confirmation of Israels planned final borders.
SEEKING EUROPES cONFIRMATION
JESUS PROPHESIED GREAT TRIBULATION FOR THE WEST BANK
When elections were scheduled for March 28, 2006, Olmert became the prime ministerial candidate for Sharons newly formed Kadima Party. He clearly told the nation what he intended to do if elected. He promised to complete Sharons dream of unilateral withdrawal from Judea and establishing Israels final borders. After winning the election, Olmert was asked if he would hold a referendum before withdrawing from Judea. He emphatically replied, The election was the referendum.
SEEKING cONFIRMATION FROM WORLD cOMMUNITY
Immediately upon taking office, Olmert set the wheels in motion to fulfill his plan. The first step was a trip to Washington to secure the support of Israels number one ally, the United States. In April, Olmert announced the goal of his trip in no uncertain terms. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Olmert said the aim of his planned meeting with President Bush would be to secure international support for the pullout, including financial assistance. Olmert met with Bush on May 23rd. The next day he spoke to both houses of Congress. He opened his speech this way: My parents came to the Holy Land following a verse in the Old Testament in the book of 2 Samuel, I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and I will plant them in their land, and they will dwell in their own place and be disturbed no more (2 Samuel 7:10). I believed, and to this day still believe, in our peoples eternal and historic right to this entire land. We have to relinquish part of our dream to leave room for the dream of others, so that all of us can enjoy a better future. For this painful but necessary task, my government was elected. And to this I am fully committed. Referring to Israels withdrawal from Gaza, Olmert said to Congress, We could never have implemented the Disengagement plan without your firm support. The Disengagement could never have happened without the commitments set out by President Bush in his letter of April 14, 2004, endorsed by both houses of Congress in unprecedented majorities. In the name of the People of Israel, I thank President Bush for this commitment and for his support and friendship. Turning his attention to plans for withdrawal from the West Bank he continued,
After leaving the United States, Olmert huddled with Egyptian President Mubarak and with King Abdullah of Jordanthe leaders of the only Arab nations that have concluded peace treaties with Israel. Neither of them relishes the thought of a radical Hamas regime entrenched all along their borders. Three weeks after his U.S. visit, Olmert touched down in London. His meeting with Prime Minister Tony Blair in Olmerts words was successful above and beyond his expectations. Blair did not offer enthusiastic endorsement of the disengagement, but he did issue a challenge to the Palestinians; either they meet the basic conditions for negotiationsrecognition of Israel, renunciation of violence and a commitment to the Roadmapor they would have to deal with this different reality, referring to Israel determining final borders unilaterally. What Blair said next was very telling, In this case, the blame will lie at their feet, not Israels. Reporting on his meeting in France, Olmert said that the French had not expressed objections to his disengagement plan. After meeting with French President Jacques Chirac, Olmert told reporters, The plan is inevitable, it will be implemented, hopefully by agreement, but it will be implemented. Olmert also insisted that he would never cede Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalems Temple Mount.
ISRAELS TIMETABLE FOR FINAL BORDERS
When asked about the timetable for establishing Israels final borders, Israels Justice Minister Haim Ramon said the government would wait until the end of the year (2006) to determine whether negotiations can be held with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. If by the start of next year, we see that there is no Palestinian partner, we will begin to promote our initiative after having mobilized support for unilateral disengagement from the international community, he said. Ramon said the aim was to complete the plans implementation by the end of 2008. From the moment we set out on the road, it will be possible to complete the process by the end of 2008, he told army radio. By that date, we will deploy on the border which will mark the permanent frontier of the state of Israel.
If Israel withdraws from Judea as she plans to do, how will the prophecy of Jesus be fulfilled? Jesus said in Matthew 24:15-21 that Judea will become a place of terrible and unprecedented tribulation. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Many of the Jewish settlers who live in Judea are fiercely opposed to leaving their biblical homeland. When Sharon withdrew from Gaza in 2005, Israeli soldiers had to literally carry Jewish settlers out of Gaza. The trauma of Jew struggling against Jew nearly tore the nation apart. Only 8,000 had to be evacuated from Gaza. There are 80,000 living in the area of Judea. Will Olmert dare to send in troops to forcefully evacuate the 80,000 inhabitants of Judea? Or will he simply say that on a given date, Israel is withdrawing. Anyone who is unwilling to leave will live under Palestinian authority from that time onward. Here is what Olmert said recently when addressing this very question: Settlers, will have to make a personal choice whether they wanted to live in a Jewish state or a Palestinian state. The settlers can decide they would rather live on this particular piece of land, and that is [their] choice, It is obvious that many of them will not leave. These will be the people who become the object of the terrible slaughter spoken of by Jesus. This will happen during the time of the great tribulation, beginning three and one-half years after the confirmation of the covenant.
CONFIRMATION OF THE cOvENANTHOW SOON?
Ehud Olmert has announced that he will establish the final borders of Israel by the end of 2008 at the latest. He has openly said that he wants the final borders established before George Bush leaves office. That is two and one-half years from now. If this is accomplished and supported by the world community, will it be the confirmation of the covenant? It certainly looks that way. The confirmation of the covenant by 2008? Hmm n

DO YOU LIKE TO LOOK AT pICTURES? You may think there are no pictures in the Bible, but actually, God uses pictures again and againoften in dreams and visionsto reveal hidden and future things through His prophets.
he Bible shows motion pictures of animals, unique creatures and other miscellaneous video clips that are supernatural previews of major events far in the future. That is where we come in. The ancient pictures were meant for us today. We live in the days of the pictures becoming reality. By knowing and understanding these pictures, it becomes possible for us to know exactly where we are in time and what will be taking place very soon. They say that one picture is worth a thousand words. The Bible furnished many accurate pictures of kings and kingdoms hundreds of years before they came into power. One of the most often photographed subjects in the Bible is Europe. Europe is one of earths seven continents. Its history sprang largely from Greece in the centuries before Christ. It then swung toward Rome, the Roman Empire, and then the Holy Roman Empire. God depicted these changes hundreds of years before they came to pass. Even now, those pictures are amazingly relevant. In world history, Europe is prominent. In
Bible prophecy, Europe was legendary even before its time. Both Daniel and John saw great Europe before it was great. Europe is the site where Johns beast of Revelation and the antichrist rises up. We should keep our eyes on Europe. So, what is the message in the pictures, and what is its significance to us right now? Two powerful pictures are worth consideration here. Let us take a closer look. 1} A huge statue being destroyed when a stone strikes its iron and clay feet. 2} A leopard with four heads and wings of a fowl. Incredibly, both of these scenes depict similar things. All describe forceful world powers that will be ruling when Jesus Christ returns to establish His kingdom. Lets analyze the clues.
PICTURE 1: IRON AND cLAY FEET
The first picture is of iron and clay feet. Those feet appeared on a great statue in King Nebuchadnezzars dream. The statue depicted successive world kingdoms: Babylon was the head of gold, Medo-Persia was
silver arms and chest, Greece was the brass belly and thighs, and Rome was the iron legs. The Roman Empire collapsed around 300 A.D. and the next and last world empire before Jesus Christ returns was illustrated by iron and clay feet. Europe appears three times in Daniels statuefirst, in the east, as the brass thighs of Greece. Alexander the Great took it to its zenith. Next, Europe is seen as the iron legs of the Roman Empire, under powerful men like Caesar Augustus. Thirdly, as iron and clay feet: And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. (Daniel 2:41, 42) The stone struck and destroyed the iron and clay feet. What do the iron and clay feet represent? 1} An empire with a dual nature: Politics and Religion, or Church and State. 2} The politics of the defunct Roman Empire revived under the careful manipulation of the Roman Catholic Church. Why would we assume that the clay in this image symbolizes the Roman Catholic Church? There are several reasons. you Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. Thus the collapsed Roman Empire revived, but was renamed the Holy Roman Empire. With the anointing of the RCC, Charlemagne instantly carried the most powerful endorsement of the day. As a devout Roman Catholic, Charlemagne would always be at the beck and call of the Pope. Every subsequent emperor of the Holy Roman Emperor was also a Roman Catholic. Charlemagne set about to consolidate Europe as never before. He would come to be known as the Father of Europe. The combined forces of Roman church and state would change Europe for all time. Roman pontiffs crowned almost all the kings of the Holy Roman Empire for a thousand years. The Cathedral of Kings in Frankfurt is today a monument to that notable tradition, and the Hall of Kaisers (Caesars) there displays the portraits of each emperor with his crown and applea golden ornament symbolizing his sovereignty as emperor. Charlemagne ruled from Germany. Nevertheless, Rome exerted powerful influence on German politic. The German Kaisers derived their names from the Roman Caesars. Charlemagne was buried for a time in the sarcophagus of Augustus Caesar. For all practical purposes, the Holy Roman Empire was built upon ancient Roman law. Even in modern times, plenty of writers believe that Pope Pius XII was complicit with Adolph Hitlers Third Reich. Today, Roman Catholicism can still be seen exercising its influence in high political places. Iron and Clay.

European history. In the past 120 years, the Germans have dominated Europe; intellectually and militarily. Reich is the German word for kingdom. In all the history of the Holy Roman Empire, its parliament was known as the Reichstag. Reich meaning empire and stag meaning assembly. The modern nation of Germany is evolved from Charlemagnes Reichstag. As far back as 919 AD, the Reichstag elected the first King of the Germans, and in 1871 became the parliament of the German Empire.

With the birth of the Holy Roman Empire, another prophetic picture began to take shape: the four-headed leopard with wings of a fowl (Daniel 7:6). No other country in history has been more closely identified with a leopard than Germany. In the past century, its leopard tanks played major roles in World War II. Charlemagne was a strong Germanic leader. From there, he conducted empire over Europe. One of his leading accomplishments was the unification of France. Historians say that the Holy Roman Empire was the incubator for both modern Germany and modern France. Curiously, the symbol of France is a fowl: the rooster. The Holy Roman Empire can be recognized as a leopard with wings of a fowlGermany and France, both being powerfully manipulated from Rome. From Germany, Charlemagne birthed the empire. The prophecy said that the leopard had great dominion. Eventually, (from the 16th Century forward), the empire was called the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation. Newsweek magazine, April 9, 1984 said, Since the time of Charlemagne, the area that is now Germany has been the pivot of

Nearly every emperor was crowned by a pope. 2} The Second Reich. Began under the diplomatic statesmanship of Otto Van Bismarck, The IRON Chancellor. From the unification of Germany following the Franco-Prussian War (1870 - 1871) to the German defeat in the First World War in 1919. Bismarck attempted to stop Catholic political control of Germany, but failed. 3} The Third Reich. 1933-1945 Adolph Hitlers Germany followed a brief interim called the Weimar Republic. Nazi Germany was defeated in WWII and divided into East and West Germany. Journalists of that era called it a deadly wound. The deadly wound was healed when Mikhail Gorbachev ordered the wall torn down in 1989. 4} The Fourth Reich. 1951 to present Germany (leopard) and France (fowl) sponsored the European Coal and Steel Community, which evolved into the present day European Union. The Euro is now the common currency, and Germany is still the dominating nation in the EU. The ancient prophecy is fulfilled: great dominion was given to the leopard. The world will soon be dominated by the Fourth Reich: the European Union. Its population is larger than that of the United States. Its currency already outperforms the American dollar on a regular basis. The oil producers of the world are talking about switching from dollars to euros. American politicians are beginning to realize what is happening. Rockwell Schnabel, former U.S. Ambassador to the E.U. wrote a book entitled, The Next Superpower. In it, he stated that an EU bent on establishing itself as an alternative geopolitical pole to the U.S. could undermine stability around the globe. Not coincidentally, on June 3rd, 2000, U.S. President Bill Clinton received the 50th Annual International Charlemagne Prize, which is given to the person who does the most to further the cause of European unity. World
leaders know that the future of the globe lies in European politic. The European Union is likely to fulfill many other Bible prophecies before the end of time, including the introduction of the antichrist and the mark of the beast. The Bible prophesies that the center of world power will swing back to Europe. In the end, however, the prophecy says that a stone (representing Jesus Christ) will smite the iron and clay feet. The entire statue will be destroyedRoman, Greek, Persian and Babylonian. In modern terms, that represents both the European Union and much of the Middle East, including Iran and Iraq. In fact, all the kingdoms of man will yield to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords in that. n

Are you aware that all U.S. citizens will receive a COMPULSORY National ID card by 2008? The Real ID Act, passed by Congress and signed by President Bush on May 11, 2005, mandates that all U.S. citizens will receive a National ID card by May of 2008. A major prophecy in the Bible foretells a time when every person will be required to have a mark or a number, without which he or she will not be able to participate in the economy. This prophecy of buying and selling, using a number, can now be implemented at any time. Has the time for the fulfillment of this prophecy arrived?
According to Jim Harper, an analyst at the Cato Institute in Washington, D.C. Congress made the Real ID Act voluntary, but punishment for not following its guidelines will be harsh. Motorists are confronting more hassles and higher fees when they renew their drivers license. People have to show their birth certificates and usually have to renew in person. Privacy advocates detest the Real ID Act, expecting the law will greatly increase government snooping. Identification cards are always at the core of a national surveillance system. Licenses issued by non-compliant states will not be accepted as valid identification for most services and privileges such as boarding airplanes, opening bank accounts or entering Social Security offices. Consumers are urged to contact Senators, Representatives, Governors and other officials to protest the implementation of the REAL ID ACT. Insist that it be revoked by writing letters, emails and making phone calls to state and local officials.

Even though federal rules say Mexican-issued cards cannot be used in government buildings, Bruce DeCell has used his four-year-old card again and again to enter government buildings and airlines without being turned down once. Even major misspellings were not caught.
RFID LEGISLATION NEEDED IN CALIFORNIA
Scott Silverman, Chairman of the Board of VeriChip Corporation, suggests that immigrants and guest workers be implanted with the companys RFID tracking tags. Silverman was responding to the Bush administrations call to know who is in our country and why they are here. Other nations are working toward an RFID solution to immigration candidates, so their identity can be confirmed wherever they go.
WIScONSIN APPROvES ANTI -CHIP IMPLANT BILL
The nation of Belgium is now issuing electronic identity cards for every child under 12 to help parents track missing children. The cards have a special number with instructions on how to call the missing child hotline.
GOvERNMENT IS USING MORE DATA MINING
A common sense RFID bill that helps meet privacy concerns is being promoted in California. The bill, AB 2561, calls for a board of experts to ascertain that RFID technology is highly secure. They hope the new bill will help people be more accepting of RFID technology.
