THE COPYRIGHT AND THE WEB

The authors (in this particular case it is called software authors) have exclusive rights to their works.

Professors and researchers, the academic world, has the right to protect the intellectual property

Right of attribution of authorship (an automatic right and indispensable) exclusive right of modification of his work; Right to make copies of his work;

Right to publish or distribute their work;


The law enforcement or use of their works.

These rights are protected "automatically" all over the world due to copyright law, also known as copyright, simply from the time when the work is completed.

The Information Contact protecting the text contained in the work and the form in which it is expressed, for example such as the text of a book. In Europe, the rights of the author are protected until 70 years after his death.

THE EU LAW OF COPYRIGHT


The copyright law of the European Union has arisen in an attempt to confrom the differing copyright laws of Eu member states.

It provides of directives, which the 27 (28) member states are obliged to enact into their national laws, and by the judgments of the Court of Justice of the European Union, that is the European Court of Justice and the General Court.

The Directive
Defined the copyright protection to be applied to computer programs. In particular the copyright has the exclusive right to authorize The temporary or permanent copying of the program, including any copying which may be necessary to load, view or run the program; the translation, adaptation or other alteration to the program; the distribution of the program to the public.

EU COPYRIGHT
Copyright and related rights provide an incentive for the creation of and investment in new works and other protected matter (music, films, print media, software, performances, broadcasts, etc.) and their exploitation, thereby contributing to improved competitiveness, employment and innovation. The field of copyright is associated with important cultural, social and technological aspects, all of which have to be taken into account in formulating policy in this field.
