1. Installation 1.1. Copy qXMLNet folder to any PC connected to LAN. 1.2. Edit qXMLNet.reg for default parameters "ServerName" - most commonly used iQ Computer Name. XMLGet/"Format" - default format. XMLPut/"FrameRate" - default frame rate. XMLPut/"1001" - default frame rate modifier. eg FrameRate of 30 with 1001 on, means 29.97. XMLPut/"Scan" - default scan: "Interlace" or "Progressive". All default parameters can be overridden in a command line. 1.3. Register qXMLNet.reg. 1.4. Open the registry and edit XMLGet/"Folder" - folder where clips will be ex ported to. 1.5. If qXMLNet is on a remote non-iQ machine then msxml3sp2Setup.exe must be i nstalled. 2. XMLDir.exe 2.1. XMLDir retrieves contents of a clip bin from any iQ connected to LAN. 2.2. Parameters XMLDir.exe <Mask> -so <Source> : source iQ Required parameter is <Mask>. 2.3. Examples XMLDir.exe * XMLDir.exe a* XMLDir.exe *topgear* XMLDir.exe * -so iQcrateA 3. XMLGet.exe 3.1. To create extensible clip 'fred', use XMLPut.exe SourceDir -ti fred -ex none To extend extensible clip 'fred', use XMLPut.exe SourceDir -ex fred -re usage: The clip to be retouched is cloned once before it is retouched for the first time. Retouched frames are matched to the retouch clip using destination timecode from the filename. To retouch clip 'fred' using the frames in SourceDir, use XMLPut.exe SourceD ir -re fred 4.3.
