While our office was still reeling from your overwhelming response, Asilomar informed us that the big hall (Merrill Hall) that we had reserved for our conference was scheduled for major renovation during the month of our conference and that they were planning to set up a tent to accommodate us. Since this is something new and untested for Asilomar (and therefore unsettling to us) and since they still have no idea how many seats the tent will accommodate, etc. we have withdrawn our contract with Asilomar. Abraham has told us, on so many occasions, if it isnt unfolding easily, dont press forward. Step back, line up your Energy and begin again. We know that much good comes from these temporary set backs: We are now aware of your desire to hold such an event. We now understand that we need a really big space, or maybe even a few different spaces spattered across the country. Our desire has moved into a whole new place and we are certain that something spectacular will come from it. In the meantime we are returning your deposits to you. AND, well keep you posted on what develops. So, well be back on the road again, in only a few days, and well see you along the way. Dear Friends, Jerry and I comment, nearly every day, how well life on the road suits us. We are so comfortable moving about from city to city in our 40 foot Monster Bus. Coming home is good too! This homecoming was more delicious than ever as we found our extremely happy staff, busily keeping things moving along; our new building project coming along so nicely that we can almost taste being in the new building; a water feature that absolutely knocked our socks off; and the most adorable, most lovable, most beautiful that anyone has ever seen anytime, anywhere new grandbaby. And just as Abraham promised, we are seeing the world through new eyes. I have no desire at all to teach this precious little one anything. I am so looking forward to what she has come to teach me. We were amazed at your swift response to our announcement of a three-day conference at Asilomar! In only a few days you filled the conference to capacity and we began a waiting list that would fill it again, and your notes and calls (nearly 1,000 at this point) are still coming in. We are so happy that there are so many eager co-creators wanting to come and play with us.

Whatever You Like Is Appropriate

Are you among the rare humans who have come to appreciate the contrast of your time and place? When we ask, Are you appreciating the contrast of your time and place? we are not asking, Do you like the bad things that are happening, and do you applaud them right along with the good things? What we are asking is, Are you acknowledging that in this environment of perfect balance and utter freedom, if that which you adore must be allowed as part of the mix then that which you dont adore must be allowed as part of the mix? Sometimes our friends say, Well, I could accept it if you would say that that which I adore must be part of the mix. Yes, I like that! And I can also accept that that which others adore must be part of the mix. But I have a hard time accepting that something I abhor could be something someone else adores. Arent horrible things just horrible things? Can We Eradicate It? There is a case to be made for that, and you keep trying to make it in your world courts. You want to sift through the content of your time/space reality to find those things that most can, if not agree on, at least accept. But most of you still want to eradicate those things that you believe that most would vote against. And that can never be, nor need it ever be for your joyous fulfilled experience. Can We Control It? This is a vibrational Universe that is attraction based, and as you offer a vibration, you match up with vibrations that abound and those matching vibrations manifest in your experience. This vibrational Universe, managed by Law of Attraction, is so superbly managed that it is not necessary for anyone to attempt the impossibility of controlling the content of the mix. Its like saying, Im a chef in a well stocked kitchen, and my palette prefers this limited variety. I pretty much eat only one or two things. So there is no need for anything else in the kitchen. So, lets throw out all of the things that I would not put into my pie. I dont need it, I dont want it, and Id prefer if others around me dont eat it, too. In January, you gave a workshop in Houston, which I attended. While there, I purchased the Sara book for my eight-year old granddaughter, as her parents are getting divorced and I wanted to help her understand something about relationships. She not only read the book, she loaned it to several of her friends in class, and the teacher ended up reading the book also. The teacher called my daughter and asked her where she got the book. Whatever Your Like Is Appropriate

It is delicious to come together with those, like you, who have made a decision that you are going to allow the Well-being that youve been asking for to flow powerfully into your experience. Even though you may not be letting it in fully now, the fact that you have been asking, and the fact that the Universe has answered you, means that you are only a very short distance, in terms of time, from fully receiving the manifestation of all things that you want. The distance between where you are and where you want to be, is only a little vibrational massaging away. and by reaching for more thoughts that feel good, and by being more playful with yourself when you catch yourself in that mode of resistance where youre not letting it in, youll speed this process even more. It is not our expectation that you will ever, or would ever want to, find yourself where there is no negative emotion, because negative emotion is a powerful tool that helps you understand your vibrational place relative to your desire. And, like the tender, sensitive fingertips that let you know when something is sharp or hot, the negative emotion lets you know when you are treading on thoughts that are not serving you very well. Do not spend time trying to practice no negative thought. Instead, experience the negative thought, graciously and joyously, feel proud that you have acknowledged it, and then take pleasure in modifying it. So the optimum creative experience is to be able to open to the breadth of more input without closing to the breadth of more input. Its like a two-edged sword; it can stimulate you; it can shut you down. So, whether its one or a hundred that you are co-creating with, use the stimulation factor, but dont allow yourself to get worried about their choice or their control. Just know that Well-being always flows to you. What they think about anything does not matter. Only what you think. But when you start thinking about what somebody else thinks, and forming a judgment about what theyre thinking now youre thinking, and now youve introduced resistance. And then you say, Well, I didnt feel resistance before I was thinking about what you were thinking, so if youd stop thinking about it, then I wouldnt have resistance. And we say, you could stop thinking about what theyre thinking, and there wouldnt be any resistance, either. And you say, True enough, but it would be a lot easier for me to not think about what theyre thinking if theyre not thinking it, especially if theyre not speaking it. There is where allowing really serves you. Lets say that I have a specific style of furniture. Im a vibrational match to it and I dont have discord around it. Then I hook up with someone who has a very different style in furniture, and they want to bring their really bad looking stuff into my life. But Im not getting upset about the current state of what-is. Im looking for things to appreciate. Im more focused upon the other positive aspects of our relationship. Im focused upon my furniture. So, could she, in her purity of vibration, throw all of my furniture out, vibrationally? And we say, as she finds vibrational harmony with her furniture and with her life, and with her relationship, the Universe has the ability to find furniture that pleases you both. And in the process, theres this magical blending. Oh, the Universes ability to please you all, on all fronts, is unlimited. But most physical Beings get in the way of it, right away because theyre sure it cannot happen.

Should He Submit to Diagnostic Medical Tests?
Guest: I have a homeopathically oriented doctor whos aware of Energy; hes a good doctor. Recently I went to a routine checkup, and he said, You know, youre looking good, but we had a mutual friend who had created cancer for himself. Why dont we do some blood tests on you? And I said, okay. Abraham: Lets not assume Wellbeing, lets look for trouble. Guest: Right. And so, I said, Okay, is there anything up? He said, No, youre getting to the age where itd be good to have blood tests and check these things out. And I was going, Okay. Abraham: Because, That is the purpose of my existence, you see. (And we do not mean this unkindly, we are certain that this is a very well meaning person.) I have spent many years putting myself in the place where this is the way I interface with you. And while it seems that everything is perfect with you, shouldnt we probe a little deeper in order to satisfy my reason for existence? If a doctor gives you a test when youre locked off, the results will be very different than the test he gives you when youre locked on. You take the test and you call it reality. And we say it was a snapshot of a moment in time, and it doesnt have anything to do with anything except where you were in that moment. Except, once you get the test, you focus upon it more. As you focus upon it more, it holds you in that vibration longer. As it holds you in that vibration longer you disallow the Well-being longer. As you disallow the Well-being longer, then there is another test. In other words, we would not take the first test. Guest: Well, thats my point. I havent decided to do it. Abraham: Well, heres the criteria. Do I take this test from a locked on or locked off position? Guest: Why do I need to take it? If I know that the way I need to show up in life is be as locked on as I can choose the thought that feels better why do I need to take it, in the first place? Abraham: Because his vibration might be more dominant in the moment. He might have more Energy revved up around necessity of tests? Guest: No, Im fine with telling him no. Abraham: So then, lets put this in a very clear place: Does the idea of the

test lock me on or lock me off? Theres a question about this? Guest: The idea seems neutral. I think that most everything is going to be fine, but I was thinking, Well, if a result came back and said Oh, your cholesterols too high, or Oh, we need to check this out. Im pretty good at being aware of where Im putting my attention. But still, suddenly my attention may go somewhere where it hasnt been. So, am I fooling myself by not wanting to go there? Abraham: Youve invested so much in this, you might as well have taken the test. And we want these to be quicker decisions. We dont want you to struggle, because the test, in and of itself, is a non-issue. The tests, or even what they might produce, in terms of results, are non-issues. Even if the tests said, youve got 14 things that people die from, its a non-issue. Because all that is, is a registering of whether youre locked on or locked off, in the moment. If you have some negative emotion and you dont realize what it means so you dont reach for a thought that feels better and allow the Energy to flow dont worry about it, the negative emotions going to get bigger. And if you still dont recognize it, it will get bigger. Until eventually there is something tangible, something measurable, that is still only an indication of being locked off your signal. It wouldnt matter to us; it wouldnt matter to you, either, if youd come back and said, I went to the most renowned doctor tester of physical bodies in the world and hes giving me these horrible, horrible, horrible results, we would say, Well, whats that got to do with anything? You say, Well Abraham, dont you understand, according to these tests Im really, really, really, sick. And we say, No. According to these tests youre really, really, really, locked off your signal. Choose another thought, and get locked back on and all of that will go away. You say, Oh, but I dont think I want to get locked on. I think I would rather study the results of these tests for a really long time, and continue to use them as my excuse Youre getting the sense of what we are talking about? The health test, the snapshot in time, does not matter because in the next moment you can lock back onto your signal and allow the Well-being to flood back into your experience. Where you are is only the platform from which you desire and then allow. And thats why you can never get it wrong, because in the next moment you have a different desire, a more emphatic desire, a more specifically focused desire, which you have the ability to allow. You just have to get it that you have the ability to allow and that allowing always feels good. So then, all that other stuff that people are all worried about becomes inconsequential. The only question is, Does it lock me on or does it lock me off? Period.

I have been listening to your tapes for over a year and recently attended my first Abraham Workshop in Tarrytown, NY . It was a wonderful experience! I have always been very interested in the other the mysteries of life. As a child I was not made to adhere to any religious beliefs. I delved into many religious thoughts, and for substantial periods in my life was a practicing Muslim (13 years) and Buddhist and chanted Nam myoho renge kyo (as part of this practice) for 16 years. Im discovering I can choose my own thought, and take counsel from my own Source Energy. But the world around me calls me Pollyanna. They say, I have my head in the sand. Will that resounding, global collective consciousness not have a devastating effect upon all of us? Could I, as one allower, make any real difference? What Can I Do? You, as one allower, can make a big difference. But the only difference were wanting you to make is in your own experience. Were not asking you to line up your Energy so that you can save the world. The world does not need to be saved. The most significant thing that were wanting to give to you here, is that, in a time of great upheaval, where there are billions of people focused simultaneously upon the 9/11 event, that brings forth within them strong determination about something, can you feel the power of the asking that is coming forth from your global community? Could I, As one Allower, Make any real difference?

Weve never seen greater asking in a focused period of time, ever, in your time/space reality. Thats a tribute to your mass media, to your interconnectedness. In other words, you collectively sent out a big one. Now, Step two takes place: Source Energy answers. In that moment, as she found something to appreciate, she was in the utter state of allowing, so that every desire that she had ever uttered, vibrationally or verbally, was being allowed fully, in this moment. She did not have to think about the book projects. She did not have to think about the water garden project. She did not have to think about the new grandbaby on the way. All she had to do was admire the beauty of a moment and hold herself not in resistance to what shes been asking for. You do not have to hammer anything into place. Universal Forces know how to make it happen. Universal Forces know how and where and who and when. All you have to do is not be in the place of disallowance. All you have to do is not be in the place of doing that thing you do that doesnt allow yourself to receive all that youve been asking for. With each moment of bliss, more of that which youve identified as your desire flows to you, until another moment of bliss comes and another, and another, and it seems as if the entire Universe revolves around you and it does. feeling thought, and even though its not all that great, it does feel better than that one over there so you hold it for as little as 17 seconds and now it becomes the mid-range vibration. Which means, that really uncomfortable thought is gone altogether and a much better feeling thought is coming into view. Can you see how the exact opposite of that happens when youre looking for trouble: Youre a little unhappy; youve been locked off; youve got something thats bothering you; youre not allowing your Well-being. So, you dont feel as peppy as you usually do, or your joints are hurting, or something. And so, you begin thinking about it, you begin talking about it, and then somebody says you might go have that checked. Can you see how youre reaching for a less good thought and a less good thought, and a less good thought? And then they say, lets take some tests. So, which way is that going? How many days for the results of the test to come back, and whats the condition of your mind during that time? More locked on, or more locked off? Its really easy to see how, little by little, you teach each other, how to lock off your signal. Youre looking at the statistics of the world of people whose vibrational patterns you know not, looking at the results of their vibrational patterns as manifestations, and then youre saying, That could happen to me! And we say, that is the symptom of being locked off. If youre

Theyve been taught by the society at large that the society at large does not understand their ability to be well, otherwise everybody would be. And that there are people that are wanting wellness and dont know how to get there. Its all co-creation. The doctor would not exist if it were not for the people who do not believe in their own ability to be well. The range of thought is the range of thought that you hold. And you do not have access to those bright happy fluffy thoughts over there when you are messing around in resistant thoughts that are depressing or angry in nature. So the best you can do is just reach for the least angry thought that you can find. But youre not going to find a joyful thought in your range. Law of Attraction says that it is not possible. So you reach for the best feeling thought that you can find, and its not that much better than the worst feeling thought, in reality but there is a distinction between the worst thought and a better feeling thought. So as you find a better feeling thought and you deliberately focus upon it (or even put your brain on pause for a moment while your vibration catches up with the higher vibration) that better feeling thought will then be the mid-range thought, and the terrible thought, now, is slightly out of range, and a little bit better feeling thought is in range. So now you reach for the best

not locked off, it could not happen to you. And you say, Well, I worry about it. And we say, locked off. And you say, And I know people that thats happened to. And we say, locked off. Because what theyre living is so evident in what theyre letting in or what theyre not letting in. The more joyful you are, the more you thrive. It is just that simple. So we wouldnt spend too much time trying to scrutinize any particular sticking point. Get off of it. Go into a clear space, connect with Source Energy, and then if you want to revisit it from a better feeling place, thats fine. But we would not go looking for trouble at the doctors office. Is it logical to you that someone could find patterns of thought that hold them in such a place of resistance that no matter what you, as a physician, does for them, their illness still prevails? Certainly, Ive seen that, they would say. Can you accept that someone could have, by virtue of whatever theyve been doing, a very powerful illness, and that somehow within the illness a strong desire could be born, and that somehow they could find a way of looking at it that would allow the wellness that defies all logic? NEW ABRAHAM-HICKS CENTER

It was our intention to ask Billy Mitchell to come out to the property to take some shots of the new Conference Center Building so that we could use it to give you some indication of how thrilled we are with its progress, and with its potential for bringing a great deal of pleasure to a great many of us who will be participating in the time to come. But, our staff, aware of the camera man, all squeezed in, in front of the shot. So instead well tell you a little bit about them. The other day Esther and I decided to sit down together and, on separate pieces of paper, write out a number of positive aspects of some of the people who are close to us and important to our experience. And since we were at home, our thoughts went immediately to our Abraham-Hicks Publications staff, this group of people that you see in this picture who make this business work so well. One of the first things that each of us wrote was how much fun each of them are and how much fun we have when we are together. And as you can probably see, this picture bears that out. We appreciated them for their good natures, for their love of our clients, for their punctuality, for their varied skills, for their sense of Well-being. It just went on and on. And well have to tell you, we dont know how much it did for our staff, but it left Esther and I on such a high we were floating (and actually giggling) for most of the rest of the day. Doesnt it feel good to have people in your life that you respect so much? Doesnt it feel good to be able to share with others the good that you are receiving in your life? Doesnt it feel good to focus your attention on the positive aspects of all of those who are close to you? I dont know about you, but for us, it really does feel good. And, isnt it nice to have people in your life that are easy to love? In order to put faces to those you communicate with here in our office, from left to right are Barbara Parsons, Gina Bueno, Jana Harkrider, Tracy Ayers, and Joanalie Edwards. Our newest staff member, Sylvia Martinez, joined us just after this shot. By the time of our San Antonio Open House in April, much of the building that you see in the background will be completed and it wont be long after that that we will be begin conducting workshops in our new center.
