Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Office IP address modification

PROCEDURE

OBJECTIVE
To learn how to use the procedure to change OmniPCX Office IP addresses in order to be compliant with the LAN

PROCEDURE
There are two methods to change the OmniPCX Office IP addresses. IP addresses can be changed by using either OMC or MMC Station. 1. Use OMC to Change the PCX IP addresses Application Path OMC OMC \ Hardware and limits \ IP Addresses

Enter new CPU IP address (e.g. 192.168.91.246) The new VoIP IP address is automatically synchronized with the Main CPU IP@ (e.g.: 192.168.91.246) The default router address: is automatically synchronized with the main CPU IP (e.g.: 192.168.91.246) Subnet Mask: (e.g. 255.255.255.0) If necessary the default router IP address can be modified in the Tab LAN Configuration

Note : Re-start the Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Office system so that the changes are taken into account. Remember to change the IP address of the OMC PC (e.g.: PC: 192.168.91.10 Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 default gateway: 192.168.91.246 DNS: 192.168.91.246)
