A.I.M.
A KING KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT HE WANTS
There comes a time in a mans life where he must choose to live or to die. To accept truth would be choosing to live. To deny truth would be certain death. He must understand that he is responsible and accountable for his own life. The undeniable truth a man has to accept is that he must first become, before he receives. In order to survive life and its overwhelming adversity, he must become a survivor. In order to have millions ,he must become a millionaire time before his net worth has reached that status. In order to be a king, he must first become king. Countless men wander the earth, lost. Believing they are the victims of the world when they are really victims of themselves .They view the world as an overwhelmingly complex experience where only a select few attain freedom and happiness. They have denied truth and have paid the ultimate price for doing so. A man will accomplish nothing worthwhile without knowing exactly what it is that he wants. A man needs aim. Aim is what a man desires to have, who he desires to become, and the burning reason why. Aim is his map ,his law, his personal constitution. The why is the foundation. Its the 1

fire that burns within him. The fuel for his motivation and determination. It is the one thing that will make his inevitable struggle to heaven worth it. It is said that if you supply the who , the what , and a burning why , the how has no choice but to show itself. Many men have risen from the depths of hell because of the love of someone or something. They've risen because theyve recognized their ability to do so, and something gave them a strong enough reason to try. With aim , every choice a man has to make will become less complicated. Life is nothing but choice, so his life will become simpler. While others complicate their lives, a king will simply his. Every situation he finds himself in will be judged according to whether its in line with his ultimate aim. Whether it be which job to accept or what people to associate with. Every mans purpose is to discover his aim and accomplish it.

ADVERSITY IS MOTIVATION
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that
you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4

Small men are intimidated by a man with focus, direction and purpose . Instead of admiring and attempting to learn from a king, they seem to 2

despise him. They down him in conversation. They attempt to amplify any flaw they are able to conjure up in their imagination. Yesterdays friends are now todays enemies. He will be called selfish and self-absorbed. Haters will be quick to send criticism and insults his way without discretion. A true king understands this truth and has prepared his mind for it. But how?

Concentration
Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you. Proverbs 4:25 A kings mind is focused on faith and achieving his aim. The lost men of this world don't bother him. He has realized that these men are small compared to the giant that he has become. In simpler terms, he moves forward regardless of what other people say and do. Concentration is the key .Without it, no man could possibly become king. Concentration is the ability to control a man's greatest asset, his mind. Without it ,he is a wanderer , hes lost and subjectable to every distraction around him. Concentration or focus is the key, the mandatory skill necessary for achievement. When a king arises in the morning, his mind is focused on action, the next move he must make to get him ever closer to his aim. Negative circumstances and the negative people who 3

occupy them, are his fuel and motivation. He sees a problem and solves a problem. He views adversity as something to overcome, something he is superior to, and he conquers it with poise and confidence.

Concentrated Action
He who has begun is half done. -Horace
When a man has a map, it is his time to travel. His time to act. His time to do something. Action is what separates slaves from Kings. Its the most important principle of a Kings philosophy. The key is to not just to move, but to move towards his aim, his heaven. His every step should align himself ever closer to the pearly gates. He realizes hell is one misguided, unfocused step away. Therefore his thoughts and actions must be aimed. A King realizes that time on earth is 4

short, and he refuses to waste it. He will not waste his time with petty arguments and fights. He will never associate himself with men who are a standing still like living statues. Once he has discovered a path, he must take it. He must keep moving with his aim constantly in mind. He must move past doubt and fear .He must move in focused faith and never procrastinate. He knows disaster finds the man who procrastinates. The procrastinator acts as if he has a thousand years to live, and if he did, he would waste every hour of them. Procrastination is simply waiting to die. A kings emphasis is on action .He has no time to talk about what he should be doing, he is too busy doing it. He judges men by the same standard that he is judged, by deeds. A king will prepare a plan and will begin to work that plan at first opportunity . If his initial plan should fail, he reworks another and tries again. The only reason he would fail to reach his aim is if he becomes unfocused and quits. To quit is to tell life that he is unworthy. That he is a slave and will never win. Kings never quit period. Kings persist. Kings ne
