Our achievement
We achieved finesse through every project, striving to win the trust of our customers by exceeding their expectationsevolving as one of the largest manufacturers of air springs in India. Today we are manufacturing and supplying critical components in the domains of railways, defence and energy to a distinguished clientele. Stretching our horizon further we set up, in collaboration with Trelleborg Industrial Anti-Vibration System, TIAVS a one-of-its-kind air suspension systems production plant in Rajasthan, India. We have accomplished yet another milestone by establishing our second plant Engineering Systems Division- an up to date manufacturing facility. ESD will produce fabricated bogies for passenger coaches, electric and diesel locomotives. It will also engineer fabricated precision machining components for all heavy industries.

Our corporate structure

Ashika Commercial Private Limited, ACPL,
Our lead company, manufactures air springs for railway rolling stock, precision engineering machine components, and markets products of the UK based Trelleborg Industrial Anti-Vibration System, TIAVS. ACPL has catered to the growing needs of the Indian Railways since 1993 Suspension system for railway rolling stocks and other vehicles Maintenance equipment for coach and wagon workshops Track maintenance equipment

Our distribution network

We signed a distribution agreement in 2001 with Trelleborg Industrial Anti-Vibration System, TIAVS the world leader in vibration control mounts, for sales and marketing of their products in diverse market segments of India including rail, defence and marine. By efficiently executing several TIAVS contracts for the Indian Railways, we have been their largest distributor since 2003. We are the sole distributors for the entire product range of Era-Contact Gmbh, Germany since November 2008. We have also signed a distribution agreement with ZF SACH AG, Germany for their entire product range for the rail segment in India.

RMC Power Recovery (I) Private Limited,

Another important group company, is the sole distributor for UK based RMC Power Recovery Limited. It distributes compressor-washing systems for gas turbines enhancing the performance of engines. The lists of clients include the Indian Air Force, power, gas and oil sectors.

For the first time in India, we commissioned a cutting-edge technology factory at RIICO Industrial Estate, in technical collaboration with the UK based Trelleborg Industrial Anti-Vibration System, TIAVS, the world leader in vibration control mounts. Built on a sprawling 66,000 sqft campus our Suspension Systems Division is equipped with advanced machinery for manufacturing superior quality Pneumatic Suspension Springs. It has hitech capability for machining metal parts and assembling air springs. There is also an extensive testing faculty for applying stringent quality checks. The air springs used in the secondary suspension stage in passenger vehicles of the Indian Railways are extremely critical as they Enhance passenger comfort levels Ensure that coaches run with minimum maintenance Increase the service life of a vehicle Reduce maintenance idle time Make the vehicle track-friendly The highend Machine Shop at Silora caters to our in-house requirements as well as the metal components required by our joint venture partner TIAVS. By exporting metal components to TIAVS we have achieved a significant cost reduction for the final product in India.

Engineering Systems Division

Our 2nd manufacturing facility, it is spread over a land area of 70,000 sqft, at RIICO Industrial Estate. The factorys central location makes it easily accessible. Equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and latest testing facilities, it is the only plant in India to own a CNC Plano Miller amongst private fabricated bogie manufacturers. The plant is all set to produce fabricated bogies for all passenger coaches with or without air springs, diesel and electric locomotives. The Engineering Systems Division has the capacity to produce 1200-1500 bogies annually. We are in-process to obtain EN certification for welding process and have also applied for IRIS and ISO certification.
