The protocol of the logical interface can
be switched from AISG 1.1 to 3GPP/
AISG 2.0 and vice versa with a vendor
specific command. Start-up operation
of the 800 10314 is only possible with
a pri mar y stati on suppor ti ng AISG
1.1 and start-up operation of the 800
10618 is only possible with a primary
station suppor ting 3GPP/AISG 2.0!
Please note: The used Primary-SW has
to be able to handle also integrated remote
tilt units, like Kathrein CCU with rmware
1.29 or higher and the Kathrein PCA
with SW 2.0 or higher. If the Primary of
the system doesnt support the standard
of the logical interface ex factory, the
IRT must be switched to the appropriate
standard of the Primary before installation.

Connecting the control cables:
1. Stand alone / Star configuration:
Connect the control cable to the IRT in input of the antenna. If daisy chain is not
required, do not remove the protection cap of the IRT out input.
2. Daisy chain configuration:
For the daisy chain solution, remove the protection cap (IRT out) and create a bonding
to the subsequent antenna (IRT in) via additional control cable. Do not remove
the protection cap of the last IRT out.
Please note: The connector should be hand tightened only!
The tightening torque must be in the range of 0.370.74 lb/ft (0.5 1.0 Nm).
