FIELD OF USE VAPOR 135
LAYING INDICATIONS The VAPOR 135 vapour control membrane is placed parallel to the eaves, starting from the bottom edge of the roof. The second layer must overlap at least 20 centimetres over the first layer, as indicated on the layout of the fabric. Each layer must be fixed to the support with a mechanical fastening device (i.e. hammer tacker). The fabric can be applied under the insulation on a continuous support, like a wooden plank. Once you reach the top of the roof, it is advisable that the membrane protrude beyond the ridge line by at least 30 centimetres for best overlapping with the fabric layers, which will overlap on the other layer of the roof. We also recommend overlapping the fabric by at least 30 centimetres in the butt joints. The double adhesive band is help during laying and can replace further air or water sealing. We do however suggest the use of FLEXI BAND (DZ100110/120) sealing band for further guarantee of a perfect air sealing layer.
PRODUCT STORAGE AND CARE Keep the rolls in a dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight. It is also advisable to avoid overlapping of pallets. These actions are necessary to preserve the original features of the product.
NB: For the application of all Rothoblaas products, we recommend reading the installation instructions provided in our catalogue and downloading available technical datasheets from our website www.rothoblaas.com.
