Representati/es o! t*e P*ilippines in Congress assembled: SEC 1 78'9: SEC 2 Declaration of Policy- it is t*e policy o! t*e &tate to a!!ord protection to labor, promote !ull employment, ensure e;ual -or. opportunities regardless o o! se1, race, and creed, and regulate relations bet-een -or.ers and employers. %s suc*, t*e state s*all instill Short Title- T*is act s*all be .no-n as t*e 6Labor La- %-areness %ct o!

SEC. 3 Mandatory Labor Law Seminar- %ll pri/ate employees s*all be re;uired to undergo a Labor La- &eminar <LL&= to be administered by duly aut*ori>ed representati/es o! t*e Department o! Labor and $mployment <D4L$=. T*e LL& s*all be a seminar -*ic* s*all include, but s*all not be limited to, discussions on labor standards, labor relations, and rig*ts and bene!its o! laborers. T*e LL& s*all discuss, amog ot*er rele/ant labor la-s and policies, t*e salient !eatures o! t*e Labor Code o! t*e P*ilippines and its amendments, Maternity ?ene!its %ct, Paternity Lea/e %ct, &olo Parents@ "el!are %ct, %nti0&e1ual #arassment %ct, %nti0Tra!!ic.ing in Persons %ct, %nti0Aiolence %gainst "omen and C*ildren %ct, and Pro*ibition on Discrimination %gainst "omen and C*ildren. SEC 4 Penalty Clause- %ny employee -*o !ails to comply -it* attendance in t*e Labor la- &eminar s*all not recei/e its emoluments !or one mont* and s*all only recei/e t*e emolument a!ter attending LL&. SEC 5 Implementing Rules and Regulations- T*e Department o! Labor and $mployment <D4L$=, in coordination -it* ot*er pertinent agencies s*all !ormulate t*e implementing rules and regulations o! t*is %ct -it*in si1 mont*s !rom its passage into la-. SEC !ull !orce and e!!ect. SEC !
