Describe the fruits correctly by pasting the adjectives based on the pictures given. Identify and circle at least 6 out of the 10 adjectives found in the 10 sentences.

Educational Emphasis : I. II. III. Multiple intelligences: kinesthetic, interpersonal Thinking skills: Critical and creative thinking skills, analysis. Moral values: We must eat fruits to maintain a good health, cooperation and mutual respect.

: LCD projector, laptop, picture cards, word cards, task sheet.

Anticipated problems : Pupils have problems in constructing the sentences orally. Possible solutions : Teacher provides sample of sentence structure for the pupils as guidance.

Teacher explains to the pupils what an adjective is through slides. 2. Teacher introduces the different types of adjectives to the pupils (colour, size, shape, opinion). 3. Teacher gives example of sentences for each adjective. Powerpoint slide.

Presentation (15 minutes)

Adjectives: 1.Colour The colour of the grape is purple. 2.Size Watermelon is a big fruit. 3.Shape Orange is round in shape. 4.Opinion This is a sour lemon.

Sentences. This is a round orange. This is a red apple. This is a sweet grape.

1. Teacher pastes pictures of fruits on the Picture of fruits wall of the classroom. Word cards 2. Pupils are divided into three per groups. 3. Teacher explains the rules to the pupils. 4. Each group is given word cards of adjectives. 5. Pupils discuss the adjective received. 6. Teacher calls each group to show their adjective. 7. Pupil pastes the card to suitable picture to describe the fruit. 8. Teacher asks few pupils to construct the sentences orally with the teachers guidance. 1. Each pupil is given a tasksheet. Task sheet 2. Pupils need to circle the correct adjective to describe the fruit. 3. Pupils volunteer to read the answer to the class. 4. Teacher discusses the answer together with pupils.
