Anna University, Chennai is organizing Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme (TNSLPP) 2013-14, for the Present Final Year (2014 Passing Out Students) studying in Self Financing Engineering Colleges of Tamil Nadu, under Chennai Zone. M/s Cognizant Technology Solutions, has kindly agreed to participate in this Placement th st programme on 30 & 31 December 2013 for Chennai Zone. Centre for University Industry Collaboration (CUIC), Anna University, Chennai is conducting this programme at Sri Muthukumaran Institute of Technology, Chikkarayapuram, Kunrathur, Near Mangadu - 600 069. Final year students of B.E. / B.Tech. (CSE, ECE, EEE, EIE, ICE & IT) and PG (MCA) with CGPA between 7.00 and 8.00 (no rounding off) (No Standing Arrears) from I Semester to Last Semester are eligible to participate in this programme. It is mandatory that all the students should have secured an average of 70.00 (no rounding off) and above marks consistently in 10th Std. and 12th Std. The students who had already particpated in the previous CTS placement drive are strictly not eligible to participate now. It is requested that the Principal / Placement Officer of the College should verify the marks of the students and certify their eligibility to attend the TNSLPP. All the eligible candidates have to pay a one time Registration fee of Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven hundred and fifty only) in the form of Demand draft drawn in favour of The Director, CUIC, Anna University payable at Chennai. However, students who have already paid the Registration Fee for the academic year 2013-2014 should bring their CUIC Placement Passport Book without fail. The Principal / Placement Officers may collect the Registration Fee from the students and make One Consolidated Demand Draft and submit the hard copy of the registration form (Annexure-I) along with the Consolidated Demand Draft to the CUIC Staff Members camped at Sri Muthukumaran Institute of Technology, Kunrathur on 30.12.2013 at 7.30 a.m. at the time of Registration.

Job Role & Description: The students who get shortlisted will be offered the role of Programmer Analyst Trainee with a salary of 3 lakh / annum. They will be trained at Cognizant Academy for a period of 4 months post which they will join the project teams. Eligibility Criteria: 2014 passing out candidates only B.E/B. Terms and Conditions 1. As per the mandate of the Anna University, Chennai, students who are already placed in any organisation through Campus Recruitment are not eligible to attend the TNSLPP. As per the notification of visiting Organisations, the candidates who have already appeared for On-Campus Recruitment of that particular Organisation are not eligible to re-appear again in the TNSLPP. All the eligible students taking part in the TNSLPP process for the first time have to register by paying a one time Registration Fee of Rs.750/- in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Director, CUIC, Anna University payable at Chennai. Candidates should furnish the photograph duly attested by the Principal of their college. (Annexure I) Candidates should bring the attested Photo Copies of SSLC, HSLC, Diploma and Degree semester mark sheets for verification along with 4 passport size photographs. For attending the TNSLPP, the candidates should make their own arrangements, for all the days.
