CORIANDER FUTURE Coriander output may fall due to excess rain in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, as farmers were not able to sow the seeds due to high water levels. As well, cold wave condition along with rain continues to hamper the crop with blight! disease" the aftermath of which is li#ely to exist for around three years. Accordingly, the acreage under coriander in major producing states is li#ely to decline in coming years because farmers may execute crop rotation which is considered as a major measure to control the disease. SOYABEAN FUTURE $oybean %eb futures traded on a positive note on &hursday trac#ing positive overseas mar#ets as well as fresh soy meal export demand. 'owever, prices corrected marginally from higher levels on profit ta#ing and settled (.)*+ higher. Arrivals of the new crop across ,ndia are reported at -./,((( bags on &hursday as against-0(,((( bags on 1ednesday. $2PA has estimated production to be lower and has revised its output expectations to -))./3 l# tn from -)0../ l# tn earlier. GUARSEED FUTURE After the recent rise in rates for 4uarseed, profit boo#ing at the higher levels brought some dips to the rising rates. &raders are reportedly waiting for some more corrections in prices but the export demand is li#ely to pic# up once, some more corrections are there. &raders feel present rates are on the lower side. A strong 5ollar vs Rupee could aide in the exports favorably. JERRA FUTURE 6eera sowing in 4ujarat is reported to be complete and is said to be in good condition. 6eera futures are expected to trade on a positive note supported by fresh overseas demand. 'owever, higher sowing and higher output expectations this season may cap sharp gains and pressuri7e prices.
