The main purpose of this memo is to present my skils required to apply for lab Associate(Research and Development )at

Walt Disney company. About the company Walt Disney company (NYSE: DIS) commonly refered to as Disney, together with its subsidiaries and affiliates is the largest diversified international family entertainment and media enterprise. From classic animated features and exhilarating theme park attractions to cutting edge sports coverage and hottest shos on television, the walt Disney company was successful in emerging as global learder in family entertaimnet since its founding in 1923. The walt Disney company has a netrevenue of 1.143B , with employee strength of 149,000 people and ranks 66 on top 500 fotune companies llist.

Job positon: The position that I am appluing for with walt disnety company is lab associate (research and development intern). The main job of Lab associate is to conduct research under the directions of a senior research scientist. Eventhough lab assistant works under the guidance of a research scientist he/she is expected to but not limited to present research problems, aling with plans and results, document research in internal reports , work with disneys businesses to commercialize research results. In short all these means that the qualified candidate should have qualities such as work as a team player, strong communication skills , ability to work under pressure and come up with ideas to maximise profit Strategy: If hired the position of lab associate within walt Disney company will provide me with the golden opportunity to work under the guidance of top brains in the world, where I can utilize my educatin and experience and get expertise inmy field. So In oder to stand out from the the pool of applicants I will shape my resume showing strong communication skills ,professional experience in research land and ability to perform as a team player. During my undergraduate studies in India , I was selected to assist in a research study conducted by PHILIPS, one of worlds largest corporate research organizations. I was able to sharpen communication skills, my abilitiy to work as a team player even under stress, my approach to wards research from 30+ specialists from various nationalites who are expert in medical signal processing, systems protyping and clinical decision support. I also worked in a team of nine students for my undergraduate studies through which I got the experience to maintain good relationbetween peers , present research problems and results, maintain daily report of experiments conducted and results obtained and to compare my results with peer reviwed publications and patent applications.
