e-Consultation for Medical Students


Introduction
This seminar will show how Leicester Medical School is introducing e-Consultation to medical students in their first year in a pilot project. Both the approach and provisional evaluation findings will be shared for discussion.

Aim
To foster an understanding of the implications of e-Consultation for the teaching of medical students and doctors.

Purpose
To share thoughts and approaches regarding the teaching of e-Consultation. To consider ways in which e-Consultation can be introduced into the medical undergraduate curriculum. To understand the advantages, limitations and logistics of teaching e-Consultation.

Invitees
Anyone with an interest in helping medical students or doctors learn e-consultation.
