ORDER OF SERVICE
FOR
THE DEDICATION
OF SEMINARY THEOLOGICAL BUILDING
The Welcome
P: Let us begin the procession in the name of God
the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
C: Amen.
IIU)CESSIONAL IIYMN: TLH # 473 "The Church's .one Founda-
tiun"
1. The Church's one foundation
Is Jesus Christ, her Lord;
She is His new creation
By water and the Word.
From heaven He came and sought her
To be His Holy bride;
With His own blood He bought her,
And for her life He died.
2. Elect from every nation,
Yet one o'er all the earth
Her char-ter of salvation
One Lord, one faith, one birth.
One holy name she blesses,
Partakes one holy food,
And to one hope she presses,
With every grace endued.
3.
3. The Church shall never perish
Her dear Lord, to defend!
To guide, sustain, and cherish,
Is with her to the end.
Tho' there be those that hate her,
False sons with-in her pale,
Against both foe and traitor
She ever shall prevail.
4. Though with a scornful wonder
Men see her sore oppressed,
By schisms rent asunder,
By heresies distressed,
Yet saints their watch are keeping;
Their cry goes up, "How long?"
And soon the night of weeping
Shall be the morn of song.
5. Mid toil and tribulation
And tumult of her war
..
She waits the consummation
Of peace forevermore,
Till with the vision glorious
Her longing eyes are blest
And the great Church victorious
Shall be the Church at rest.

Even the sparrows have built a nest,
and the swallows have their own
home; they keep their young near
your altars, Lord Almighty, my king
and my God.
How happy are those who live in your
Temple, always singing praise to you.
How happy are those whose strength
comes from you, who are eager to make
the pilgrimage to Mount Zion.
As they pass through the dry valley
of Beca, it becomes a place of springs;
the autumn rain fill it with pools.
They grow stronger as they go; they will see
the God of gods on Zion.
Hear my prayer, Lord God Almighty. Listen,
0 God of Jacob!
Bless our King, 0 God, the king you have chosen.

"TO GOO BE THE GLORY"
1. To God be the glory! Great things He; has done
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life in atonement for sin
And opened the life gate that all may go in.
CHORUS:
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Let the Earth hear His voice
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Let the people rejoice;
Oh come to the Father through Jesus the son
And give Him the glory, great things He has done.
2. Oh, perfect redemption, the purchase of blood
To every believer, the promise of God,
The vilest offender who truly believes
That moment from Jesus, a pardon receives
II.
Great things He has taught us, great things
3.
has done, And great our rejoicing through Jesus
Son, But purer and higher and greater will be
our wonder, our transport when Jesus we see.

HYMN: TLH NO 341:
('rown lllnt With Many Crown"
1. Crown Him with many crowns,
The Lamb upon His throne;
Hark how the heavenly anthem drowns
All music but its own.
Awake, my soul, and sing
of Him who died for thee
And hail Him as thy matchless King
Thro' all eternity.
2. Crown Him the Virgin Son,
The God incarnate born,
arm those crimson trophies won
which now His brow adorn; Fruit of the
mystic rose, As of that rose the stem;
The root where mercy ever flows,
The Babe of Bethlehem
14.
..
Crown Him the Lord of Love.
Behold His hands and side,
Rich wounds, yet visible above,
In beauty glorified.
No angel in the sky can fully bear that sight
But downward bends his wondering eye
At mysteries so bright.
4. Crown Him the Lord of Heaven.
Enthroned in worlds above,
Crown Him the King to whom is given
The wondrous name of Love
Crown Him with many crowns
As thrones before Him fall;
Crown Him, ye kings, with many crowns,
For He is King of all. Amen.

2. Fair are the meadows,
Fair are the woodlands
Robed in flow'ers of blooming spring;
Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer;
He makes our sorr'wing spirit sing.
3. Fair is the sunshine,
Fair is the moonlight,
Bright the sparkling stars on high;
