What did the Nile symbolize in ancient Egyptian religion? It symbolizes osiris's blood or the life everything. 2. Locate the city of Thebes on a map of Egypt. Read the short paragraph about Thebes - The City. Describe the landscape with specific details. The city is divided into two parts, each on the sides of the Nile. What body of water is particularly important to Thebes? The southern part of the great bend in the Nile is the important body of water to Thebes. Why is this body of water so vital to Egypt? It is the only body of water near them. So they use it for daily needs and comforts.

The amulets have different uses like to protect the wearer from certain danger, gives charastics like strength and fierceness, use in medicine, and more. Ranofer wears an ankh.
