Browse EDB File from Offline Exchange Server in Few Simple Steps Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable due

to various issues like Jet engine error, header corruption, virus attack etc. Therefore it becomes important for Exchange Administrators to view and open Exchange EDB Database from offline EDB files to PST as well as other file formats like EDB, EML or MSG. The process can easily be carried out with Exchange Recovery Software which can easily browse Exchange EDB files and extract Exchange mailboxes from Exchange Server 2013, 2010, 2007, 2003 versions. To know how to open Exchange Database to PST with Exchange Recovery Software with Exchange Environment, follow the following steps: Download & Install the Software. Go to Start All Programs Exchange Recovery Software Exchange Recovery Software, Run the software. Step1: Click on Add File option in order to select multiple or single Exchange files of Private & Public stores.

Step2: In order to choose EDB file i.e. priv.ebd or pub.edb, click on Browse button.

Step3: After selecting and adding the EDB file, Click Open.

Note: If the selected EDB file has STM file at the same location then the software will automatically fetch the .stm file for the conversion. However if the file is at different location i.e. EDB file and STM file are not at the same location then the tool is unable to recover media file from stm files.

Step4: Choose the Scanning Option i.e. Quick or Advance option in order to open EDB to PST Note: Advance Scanning Mode is for deep data recovery. This option carries out the scanning of highly corrupt EDB files.

Step5: After the completion of scanning process, check the internal folders and sub folders in the left pane.

Step6:

Click plus + to explore the mailboxes and check out the details of the folders in the right panel.

Step7: Emails can be viewed in two different ways i.e. Normal View or Attachment View

Step to Export Single EDB Mailbox to Outlook Step8: In order to export single items, select single or multiple items of emails, contacts, calendars, notes, journal or task from mailbox and right click on the selected items and click Export option.

Step9: Select PST to convert the selected items into Outlook PST file format and check Split PST Option to select the size of a single PST file according to the default edition of Outlook i.e. 1GB to 45GB. Then select the destination to save the files and click Export.

Note: To continue the task of exporting single item follow Step11 to Step15. Step to Convert Exchange Mailbox or Folders from EDB to PST Step10: Export multiple mailboxes or multiple folder/items from Exchange database files (.edb) to Outlook pst. To convert multiple mailboxes or folders, select PST option and the check the split PST option. Select the mailbox or folder to export and click browse to select the location and Click Export.

Step11: Take the complete preview of the process of exporting EDB files to Outlook.

Step12: After the completion of the task, screen will appear of successful conversion, Click Ok.

Step13: Save the export report in CSV file format.

Step14: Select the location to save the report.

Step15: Click Ok after saving the report.
