To provide more emphasis to the overseas employment sector, Bangladesh Govt. has established the ministry of Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment on 2 !ecember 2 ". The main ob#ective of the ministry is to ens$re %elfare of the expatriate %or&ers and enhancement of the overseas employment. The 'inistry is rendering ceaseless efforts in enhancing the flo% of remittance and to provide e($al opport$nity for the people of all areas of the co$ntry for overseas employment and ens$ring overall %elfare of the migrant %or&ers. )ince the ministry is very ne% and its $nits*divisions are very fe%. B$rea$ of 'anpo%er, Employment + Training ,B'ET- is it only and active $nits. .n this pro#ect %e have elaborately investigate the existing system of the 'inistry of Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment and B$rea$ of 'anpo%er, Employment and Training ,B'ET-.B$rea$ of 'anpo%er Employment + Training ,B'ET- is a division of 'inistry of Overseas Employment and Expatriate Welfare. Earlier this division %as $nder direct control of 'inistry of /abor and Welfare. 0o%, the division is operating $nder the 'inistry of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment. The ob#ective of this division is to create ne% overseas employment opport$nities thro$gh o$t the global mar&et. B'ET ens$res the %elfare for the overseas employees and directly help them for searching %or&s to the vario$s co$ntries of the %orld. B'ET also collects labor mar&et related information to ta&e the government decision. This division helps $nemployed people to be self1employed and to implement the poverty alleviation programs. B'ET develops and designs ne% policies and proced$res to monitor the f$nctions of recr$iting agencies. The $ltimate target of B'ET is to increase the overseas employment, ens$re %elfare for overseas employees, helps them to get compensation from overseas employer, compensate them in case of death, illness, or any sort of problem in overseas. 'oreover, B'ET helps to ens$re the remittance inflo% to boost $p the economy of the co$ntry.
