Types of Nouns: Common, Proper, Countable, Uncountable, Singular, Plural, Collective and
Abstract
I. Common Nouns- are words that represent common people, places, animals and things.
II. Proper Nouns - are words that represent a particular person, place, animal or thing.
III. Countable Nouns- refer to nouns that can be counted.
IV. Uncountable Nouns- refer to nouns that cannot be counted.
V. Singular Nouns refer to a single person, place animal or thing.
VI. Plural Nouns- refer to more than one person, animal , place or thing.
VII. Collective Nouns- represent groups of people , animals or things.
VIII. Abstract Nouns- are words that represent a quality or an idea.
