Para la limpieza profunda de un aergrafo con restos secos de pintura sugerimos mezclar el Limpiador Model Air con un 50% de alcohol. Dejamos esta mezcla dentro del aergrafo o bien sumergimos todas las piezas en un recipiente con la mezcla durante 12 horas. Una vez pasado ese tiempo se debe de enjuagar con Limpiador, protegiendo as el aergrafo y evitando que su mecanismo se atasque con el tiempo. Si el aergrafo se utiliza cada da y la limpieza no se hace tan a fondo, se recomienda dejar el argrafo en posicin de carga con unas gotas de Limpiador Model Air dentro de su depsito. Al da siguiente el aergrafo estar en perfectas condiciones para su uso.

MODEL AIR es una gama de colores acrlicos desarrollados especialmente para el empleo con aergrafo. Su formula contiene una resina acrlica de la ltima generacin que ofrece unas cualidades hasta ahora no disponibles en un acrlico a base de agua. Su resistencia, dureza y poder de cubricin es superior a cualquier acrlico para aerografa. Formulacin: Los colores aptos para aergrafos requieren un molido especial para que el pigmento no obture el aergrafo. El molido de los pigmentos de Model Air proporciona al modelista seguridad tcnica y una alta nura al aplicarlos en sus modelos. La nura especial de Model Air tambin resulta en una cualidad especial para su aplicacitn con pincel para detalles en miniaturas, lavados, transparencias y aplicaciones en capas diluidas. Colores de la Gama: Han sido seleccionados cuidadosamente para proporcionar al modelista los tonos ms empleados. Durante dos aos se realizaron pruebas para ajustar los colores a las equivalencias RLM, RAL, y FEDERAL STANDARD ms utilizados. Acrylic colors for airbrush

MODEL AIR is a range of liquid acrylic colours developed especially for airbrush techniques. The formula contains a new acrylic resin with properties until now impossible to obtain in a waterbased acrylic. The resistence, hardness and covering power of Model Air is superior to any known acrylic for airbrushing. Formula: The pigments used for airbrush colours need to be ground to the nest possible consistency to avoid obstruction of the airbrush valves. The revolutionary milling process of the pigments used in the Model Air formula gives the modelpainter technical assurance and nest texture when applying the colours to the model, and produces a very superior qualtity when applying the colours with a brush for miniscule details, for washes and transparencies and layered application of diluted glazes. Colour Range: The colours have been very carefully chosen to provide the modelpainter with the references most frecuently employed. Tests have been carried out for over two years to develop the tonalities which correspond to the RLM, RAL and FEDERAL STANDARD colours commonly used. Colours can be mixed with one another, diluted with water, Model Air Thinner or Varnish or even alcohol, according to the effect desired, but we recommend the use of Model Air Thinner since this product conserves the properties of the colours. Surfaces: Model Air adheres excepcionally well to all surfaces. The adhesion of Model Air to resin models, plastics, steel and white metal is extraordinary. A primer is usually not needed; if the object to be painted is very dark, a base coat of white or grey will help bring out the luminosity of the colours. Application: Shake paint well before usage. Model Air can be lled straight into the airbrush deposit, and colours can be mixed in the deposit with no need to use an external device. Model Air dries instantly when applied with an airbrush. It can be inmediately overpainted with washes, lters, glazes or drybrushed and/ or overpainted with any kind of colours. Varnishes: The range contains Gloss Varnish, Satin Varnish and Matte Varnish, all created especially for airbrush techniques. These new varnishes dry completely in 5-10 minutes without leaving a tacky lm. They can be applied straight or diluted with water or with Model Air Thinner. In some cases, one coat of varnish is sufcient. For more protection or gloss, use several layers of ne coats for best results. The varnishes mix perfectly with the colours of Model Air to produce different textures and tones which are more alive and luminous; the resulting surface is of a very smooth and satin-like appearance. The varnishes dry to a very tough and resistant nish, and it is recommended to clean the airbrush directly after using them (before 5 minutes have elapsed) to avoid varnish drying inside the airbrush. Once protected with varnish, (Gloss, Matte or Satin) Model Air can be overpainted with solvent based enamels or oilcolours: they withstand cleaning with turpentine and even a light wash with alcohol. The resistance to abrasion of the colours, once varnished, is superior to any other waterbased acrylic. Airbrush Thinner: The thinner makes the colours more exible yet does not affect their covering power, adherence and opacity. The addition of thinner marginally extends drying time within the airbrush mechanism, and airbrush experts recommend always adding a few drops of thinner to the colours. (Water and alcohol can also be used, but they will alter the properties of Air Model slightly.) Airbrush Cleaner: The Airbrush Cleaner is the denitive solution for cleaning the airbrush between colours. It quickly eliminates remainders of the previous colour used and at the same time lubricates the interior of the airbrush without damaging the mechanism, especially important in the case of airbrushes with plastic components. While airbrushing it is recommended to clean the nozzle now and then with a cloth moistened with Airbrush Cleaner; this eliminates the remainder of dried paint from that area, and will prevent the Airbrush from splattering or becoming obstructed.

Airbrush Reinigungsmittel: Das Reinigungsmittel Model Air ist die geeignete Lsung um den Airbrush-Apparat beim Wechseln der Farben zu reinigen. Die Reste der alten Farben werden schnell entfernt, whrend gleichzeitig der Mechanismus des Apparates beweglich gehalten wird ohne ihn zu beschdigen (Dieses ist besonders wichtig beim Gebrauch von Apparate mit Kunstoffteilen). Whrend man mit dem Airbrush-Apparat arbeitet, wird empfohlen die Dse ab und zu mit Model Air Reinigungsmittel zu reinigen: damit verhindert man das Verstopfen des Apparates. Fr eine grndliche Reinigung wird die Airbrush gefllt mit Reinigungsmittel gemischt mit 50% Alkohol. Man kann auch die Teile 12 Stunden in dieser Mischung legen. Nachher sollte der Apparat mit Reinigungsmittel durchgesplt werden damit der Mechanismus geschtzt bleibt wenn er lngere Zeit nicht bentzt wird. Wenn der Airbrush Apparat tglich gebraucht und nicht sorgfltig gereinigt wird, empehlt es sich einige Tropfen Model Air Reinigungsmittel im Farbbecher zu geben und die Nadel der Airbrush etwas zurck zu ziehen. Der Airbrush wird am nchsten Tag in perfekten Gebauchszustand sein.

Colori della gamma: Sono occorsi due anni di prove per aggiustare i colori allequivalenze RLM, RAL, e FEDERAL STANDARD pi utlizzate. I colori si possono mescolare tra loro e si possono diluire con acqua, diluente Model Air, Barniz Model Air o alcool, secondo il risultato che si desidera ottencre. Versare la pittura direttamente nellaerografo. Si pu fare una mescolanza di colori nellaerografo senza utilizzare altro recipiente. Model Air asciuga allistante dopo lapplicazione. Si pu trattare immediatamente con lavature di colore o a pennello secco con qualsiasi tipo di pittura. Vernici protettive: La gamma contiene Vermice brillante, satinata e opaca, tutte create appositamente per aerografo. Queste Vermice di nuova formulazione, essiccano completamente in cinque o dicci minuti e non restano appiccicose. Si possono diluire con acqua o con Diluente Model Air o applicare direttamente. In ogni caso una mano di vernice sufciente. Per ottenete un risultato pi ne, consigliamo di verniciare con diverse mani pi diluite. Le vernici protettive si mescolano molto facilmente con i colori Model Air per ottenere toni pi vivi e luminosi e conseguire diverse niture superciali. Laspetto risultante magnico e la supercie rimane molto satinata e molto resistente. Si raccomanda di pulire laerografo dopo lutilizzo, (prima di 5 minuti) per evitare che si secchi nellinterno dellugello dellaerografo. Una volta protetti con le vernici protettive (sia opaca o brillante) i colori resistono alle vernici ad olio, smalti, acqua ragia pura comprese leggere lavature con alcool. La resistenza allo sfregamento dei Model Air superiore a qualsiasi altro colore a base di acqua. Diluente dellaerografo: Il diluente permette di darc massima essibilit al colore senza perdere le sue propriet coprenti di presa e opacit. Inoltre aiuta a ritardare leggermente lessiccazione nel meccanismo dellaerografo. Consigliamo di aggiungere sempre alcune cocce di diluente Model Air ai colori. Acqua o alcool alterano le propriet dei model Air ma non sono incompatibili. Pulizia dellaerografo: Il Pulitore Limpiador Model Air la soluzione migliore per la pulizia dellaerografo tra luso di un colore ed un altro. Esso elimina completamente tutti residui del colore appena usato e nello stesso tempo lubrica tutti i meccanismi dellaerografo senza danneggiarlo, soprattutto con aerogra con componenti in plastica. Mentre si spruzza, si raccomanda di pulire ogni tanto, lugello con un panno inumidito con il pulitore per eliminare il resto del colore secco ed evitare gocce di vernice o lintasamento dell ugello. Per la pulizia a fondo con resti di vernice secca, suggeriamo di mescolare il pulitore con il 50% di alcool. Lasciare questa mescola nellaerografo o meglio lasciare tutte le parti dellaerografo a bagno per circa 12 ore. Una volta trascorso questo tempo si risciacqua con il pulitore puro proteggendo cosi laerografo ed evitando che si bloechi con il tempo. Se viene usato giornalmente non occorre una pulizia cosi profonda. Si mantenga laerografo in posizione di carica con alcune gocce di pulitore del serbatoio. Il giorno seguente sar in perfette condizioni per luso.

Escogemos la gama que vamos a utilizar en nuestro modelo, usando referencias y perles histricos. La carta de colores ser de gran utilidad. Comprobamos que los dosicadores estn en perfectas condiciones, si no es as usaremos papel absorbente para limpiarlos. Choose the range you are going to use on your model, using historic references and proles. The colour chart will be very useful. Check that the dispensers are in perfect condition. If not, use paper towel to clean them.

Podemos aplicar una capa de imprimacin previa si as lo deseamos, dejando secar entre 2 y 4 horas, siguiendo las instrucciones del Primer de vallejo. You can apply a preliminary coat of primer if you so wish, leaving it to dry for to 2 to 4 hours, following the instructions for Vallejo Primer.

Vallejo dispone asmismo de un primer de nueva formulacin a base de resina de poliuretano, aplicable a aergrafo y de gran resistencia al manipulado o efectos artsticos posteriores. Vallejo has developed a revolutionary primer formulated with a new acrylicpoliurethane resin. This new primer applies very easily, dries quickly to a perfectly smooth, even coating of great resistance to further manipulation and handling.

Seleccionamos el color base segn el esquema de colores que queramos aplicar, agitndo el bote en sentido vertical. Es aconsejable comenzar con un tono oscuro que cumple la funcin de presombreado. Select the base colour according to the colour scheme you want to use, vigorously shaking the container up and down. Starting with a dark shade which acts as pre-shading is recommended.

A pesar de no ser necesario, es aconsejable aadir unas gotas de diluyente, en una proporcin de 1:3. El diluyente (71061) no altera la capacidad de adherencia y cubricin de Model Air. Although it is not necessary, adding drops of thinner in a ratio of 1:3 is recommended. The thinner (71061) does not alter the binding and covering capacity of Model Air.

Mezclaremos con un pincel de pelo suave la pintura, barniz y diluyente de manera uniforme y cuidando llegar al fomdo de la copa. Use a soft hair brush to mix the paint, varnish and thinner evenly, making sure you get right to the bottom of the cup.

Debemos aplicar varias capas nas evitando el intentar cubrir todas las supercies con una sola aplicacin, dejando secar entre una y otra. Model Air seca rpidamente aunque podemos acelerar el proceso proyectando aire con el aergrafo. Several thin coats should be applied, allowing the paint to dry between coats. Avoid trying to cover all the surfaces with a single coat. Model Air dries quickly, although the process can be speeded up by spraying air with the airbrush.

Podemos mezclar sin problemas las distintas referencias de Model Air para aportar volumen a nuestro modelo, evitando la monotona de una supercie plana. Different Model Air products can be mixed without any problem to provide your model with volume, avoiding the monotony of a at surface.

El resultado nal ofrece un aspecto realista y aporta una proteccin adicional frente a los posteriores tratamientos y efectos artsticos, como ltros, lavados o fundidos. The nal result has a realistic appearance and provides additional protection against subsequent treatments and artistic effects, such as ltering, washing or melting.

Nos aseguraremos que nuestro aergrafo est perfectamente limpio antes de iniciar los procesos de pintura, comprobando especialmente la boquilla y el libre recorrido de la aguja. Ensure that your airbrush is completely clean before beginning the painting processes, checking in particular the tip and that the needle moves freely.

Usar una aguja del 0,2 es ideal para trabajos en modelismo, ya que permite cubrir supercies amplias y denir tambin pequeos detalles. Using a 0.2 needle is ideal for modelling work, as it allows extensive surfaces to be covered and small details to be dened.

Durante su uso, limpiaremos la boquilla regularmente con un papel absorbente humedecido en alcohol o Cleaner de Vallejo, pues la formulacin de resina acrlica propicia la acumulacin de pigmento en la boquilla tras un tiempo de trabajo constante. During use, regularly clean the tip with paper towel dampened with alcohol or Vallejo Cleaner, as the formulation of acrylic resin can cause the accumulation of pigment on the tip after a period of continuous work.

Los cambios de color nos obligan a una impieza rpida, vaciando los restos de pintura no utilizada en un recipiente. Changes in colour require the airbrush to be cleaned quickly, emptying any remains of unused paint into a recipient.

Aadimos a continuacin una cantidad de limpiador de aergrafos de Vallejo (71099), vertindolo directamente en la copa del mismo. Then add an amount of Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner (71099), pouring it straight into the cup of the airbrush.

Aojamos la rosca posterior de retn de la aguja y la retiramos parcialmente hacia atrs cuidadosamente, a n de poder limpiar la copa con comodidad. Loosen the rear thread of the needle stop and carefully move it back slightly, so as to allow the cup to be cleaned easily.

Con un pincel suave del n 10 removemos el limpiador en el interior de la copa, vaciando posteriormente el contenido de la misma y retirando los residuos slidos que pudieran atascar el paso de la boquilla. Using a no. 10 soft brush, stir the cleaner inside the cup, subsequently emptying the contents of the cup and removing any solid remains which could prevent the tip from moving through.

Retiramos el limpiador con los restos de pintura y posibles partculas slidas que pudieran atascar el paso de la boquilla, vertindolo en un recipiente. Remove the Airbrush Cleaner with the leftover paint and any solid particles which could prevent the tip from moving freely, pouring it into a recipient.

Aadimos de nuevo Cleaner, pulverizando sobre papel de celulosa absorbente y umentamos la presin del compresor entre 1 y 1,5 kg. Model Air seca casi al instante de la aplicacin con aergrafo. Una vez aplicado se pueden tratar inmediatamente con lavados, ltros, aguadas o pincel seco con cualquier tipo de pintura. Barnices: La gama contiene Barniz Brillante, Satinado y Mate, todos formulados especialmente para el aergrafo. Estos barnices de nueva formulacin secan completamente en 5-10 minutos y no dejan huella dactilar (no tack). Se pueden diluir con agua, con Diluyente Model Air o aplicar directamente. En algunos casos, una capa de barniz es suciente. Sugerimos un barnizado a base de capas muy nas. Los barnices se mezclan muy fcilmente con los colores de Model Air para lograr tonos ms vivos y luminosos y conseguir distintas texturas. El aspecto resultante es magnco y la supercie queda satinada, lisa y muy resistente. Se recomienda limpiar el aergrafo directamente despus de utilizar el barniz (antes de 5 minutos) para evitar que se seque en el interior. Una vez protegido con los barnices, (sea mate, satinado o brillante) los colores resisten a leos, esmaltes, aguarrs puro e incluso ligeros lavados con alcohol. La resistencia al rozamiento de Model Air es superior a la de cualquier otro color acrlico a base de agua. Diluyente Aergrafo: El Diluyente permite dar ms exibilidad al color sin perder sus propiedades de cubricin, adherencia y opacidad. Adems ayuda a retrasar ligeramente el secado dentro del mecanismo del aergrafo. Aconsejamos aadir siempre unas gotas de Diluyente Model Air a los colores. Agua o alcohol alteran las propiedades del Model Air pero no son incompatibles. Limpiador de Aergrafo: El Limpiador Model Air es la solucin para la limpieza del aergrafo entre color y color. Elimina rpidamente los restos del antiguo color y al mismo tiempo lubrica los mecanismos del aergrafo sin deteriorarlos, sobre todo en el caso de aergrafos con componentes de plstico. Mientras se pinta con el aergrafo, se recomienda limpiar de vez en cuando la boquilla del mismo con un pao humedecido en Limpiador para eliminar los restos de color seco en esa zona. Eso evitar que el aergrafo salpique o se obture. (El limpiador tambin se puede utilizar sobre la maqueta para eliminar colores o corregir errores).

For a thorough cleaning of an Airbrush obstructed with dried rests of paint, we recommend a 50/50 mixture of Airbrush Cleaner and alcohol. Leave this mixture inside the Airbrush or better yet soak all parts in the mixture for 12 hours. After this period, rinse thorough with pure Airbrush Cleaner; this will protect the airbrush and keep its mechanism supple and resilient. If the airbrush is being used every day without a throught cleaning, it is recommended to leave it in the ready position with a few drops of Airbrush Cleaner in the cup; the next day it will be in perfect condition and ready to be used. Oberchen: Model Air eignet sich zum Gebrauch auf allen Flchen. Auf Harz-und Kunststoffmodellen sowie auf Miniaturen aus Metal haftet es hervorragend. Model Air braucht keine vorherige Grundierung. Bei dunklen Oberchen empehlt es sich die Modelle zuerst mit Weiss oder Hellgrau zu grundieren um die Leuchtkraft der Farben zu verstrken. Gebrauchsanweisung: Vor dem Gebrauch gut schtteln und die Farbe direkt in den AirbrushApparat fllen. Model Air trocknet sofort nach dem Aufsprhen. Nach dem Auftragen lsst sich die Farbe mit Lasuren, Model Color, lfarben, Emaille, o.a. bermalen. Firnis: Das Model Air Sortiment enthlt ein Glanzrnis, ein Satinrnis und ein Mattrnis, welche alle speziell fr den Airbrush hergestellt sind. Diese neuen Firnisse trocknen in 5-10 Minuten ohne durch Luftfeuchtigkeit beinusst zu werden (no tack). Man kann Model Air Firnis mit Wasser oder Model Air Verdnnungsmittel gebrauchen oder direkt auftragen. Das beste Resultat wird durch das Auftragen von mehreren feinen Schichten erzielt; bei kleinen Oberchen gengt ein Anstrich. Der Firnis lsst sich gut mit den Model Air Farben mischen; durch ihn erhalt man eine hhere Leuchtkraft. Das Ergebnis ist ausgezeichnet und die Oberchen trocknen sehr glatt und gleichmssig. Es wird empfohlen den Airbrush-Apparat sofort nach dem Gebrauch zu reinigen um ein Trocknen des Firnis im Apparat zu vermeiden. Wenn die Farben mit Air Model Firnis geschtzt und durchgehend getrocknet sind, widerstehen sie lfarben, Lack, Terpentinl und sogar einer leichten Reinigung mit Alkohol. Im Vergleich mit anderen Acrylfarben auf Wasserbasis, hat Model Air die bessere Haftung und Resistenz gegen Abreibung und Abkratzen. Airbrush Verdnnungsmittel: Das Verdnnungsmittel gibt den Farben mehr Flexibilitt, ohne gleichzeitig die Deckungs-und Haftungsfhigkeit zu beinussen, und verzgert die Trocknungszeit im Airbrush. Es wird empfohlen immer einige Tropfen Verdnnungsmittel den Farben hinzuzufgen. Model Air kann auch mit Wasser oder Alkohol vermischt werden, welches aber die Eigenschaften der Farben beeintrchtigen kann.
