OBJECTIVEOFTHEJOB
Stopanyprocessorworkonthegroundsofconcernsfor safety. Stoptheoperationalactivitiesonboardifthesearenot carriedoutincompliancewiththeprevailinginternal,Client orstatutoryregulations. ResponsibilitytofollowandmaintainthecompanysQHSE systeminyourdepartment. TheOnshoreandOffshoreoperationofanROVSystem undersupervision. Assistinthesmoothoperationandmaintenanceofthe RemotelyOperatedVehicle. EnsurethattheassignedROVsystemisproperlymaintained andoperativewhenrequired. BeanintegratedpartoftheROVcrewandparticipateand contributeintheoperationalactivitiesfortheROVsystem duringallphasesoftheworkscope. AssistwiththeROVlaunchandrecoveryoperationandableto takeresponsibilityforLaunch&Recoverysystemwhen required. CarryoutROVandLARSsystemplannedmaintenance schedules. FaultfindingandmaintenanceofROVandLARsystems. TobecapableinnavigatingROVtoworksitewhensupervisor notpresentandperformallgeneralmanipulatorduties. Cancarryoutelectricalandmechanicalumbilicalterminations withminimumsupervision. Capableofundertakingtradespecialisttasks. Abilitytocoordinatediverecordsvideo,audioandwritten. Ensurethattheworkscopeisperformedsafelyandin accordancewiththeapprovedandprevailingprocedures. Personalprofessionaldevelopmentandcollectionofevidence inaccordancewiththeReefSubseacompetencyscheme.

SKILLS&EXPERIENCE
HaveaworkingknowledgeofCompanyproceduresand associatedROVprocedures. Knowledgeofemergencyproceduresandhandlingof emergencysituations. KnowledgeoftheROVteammembersrolesand responsibilities. Achieve100hourspilotingexperienceatPT2grade. SatisfactorycompletionofallCompetenciesforthepositionof PilotTechnician1. Haveachieved180daysoffshoreexperienceatPT2grade.
