YARNS Anchor Artiste Baby Soft 5# 1 x 50 g each shades 7901 white, 48 pink, 128 blue and 441 light green Anchor Stranded Cotton, 1 skn. shade 403 black NEEDLES crochet hook, size 1.75 mm (UK 2/US 5) embroidery needle EXTRAS stuffing. TENSION 35 sts x 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4 x 4 inches (in basic pattern) Crab stitch = dc from left to right. Insert the crochet hook into the next st to the right and bring a loop through. Instructions
BASIC PATTERN Double crochet (dc). Replace the 1st dc of each row/ rnd with 1 ch. Close each rnd with 1 ss. CORD Make 2 ch, work 1 dc in the 2nd ch from the hook, and turn. Now work 1 dc, holding the crochet hook horizontally and inserting it from right to left in the small ring which lies to the left of the st below, and turn. * Work 1 dc, inserting the crochet hook from right to left in the small ring which is formed by the pair of threads of the st which lies to the left *. Rep from * to * cont. BOTTOM PIECE Using white, make 9 ch then work basic pattern in rows, following the pattern chart. Work the 1st dc in the 2nd ch from the hook. 1 square = 1 dc. SIDE PIECE (MAKE 2) Using white, make 7 ch then work basic pattern in rows, following the pattern chart. EAR (MAKE 2) t row. Work crab stitch along both side edges and upper edge (= a total of 23 sts). Make the ears of the 2nd mouse with light blue and the ears of the 3rd mouse with pink.

NOSE Using 6 strands Anchor Stranded Cotton in black, make 4 ch and close into ring with 1 ss. Work basic pattern in rnds as follows: Rnd 1: 8 dc. Rnd 2: Work 2 dc in each dc = 16 dc. Rnd 3: 16 dc. Fasten off. TAIL Using light green, make a cord, 15 cm (6 inches) long. FINISHING Sew side pieces together along edges AB and BC. Sew side edges of bottom piece to edges AC of side pieces. Before closing the last seam entirely, stuff mouse, distributing stuffing evenly. Sew outer end of tail to point C.
