Technical Events

CERULEAN (PAPER PRESENTATION)

Description: Participants will be provided with OHP, LCD projectors. They have to
present topic from the list of topics.

• Human vs. Machines • Computer Graphics
• AI & Expert System • Next Generation Automobiles Engg.
• Bio-Informatics • Embedded System

Rules
1. Duration will be between 6-10 mins.
2. Judgment will be most likely to be based upon presentation and topic contents.
3. Maximum 2 candidates allowed per paper.
4. Two teams per college.
5. Contents must being a hard copy of presentation cover page should carry: name of
participants, institute’s name & e-mail id along with phone numbers

ASTER (Model / Software Display Contest)

Description: Participants has to bring their projects or Technical/Non Technical Models
for Exhibition.

Rules
1. Participants must be there to explain the working of the model.
2. Entries will be judged on the basis of model level, creativity and of course efforts.
3. Team size-3

INFORMATIQUE (On the Spot Programming Contest)

Description: Participants fight with the weapons of C, C++ in the arena of on the spot
programming.
Rules
1. Two participants per team allowed.
2. Two teams per college.
3. No external library will be allowed.

AZURE (Poster Making)
Description: Participants has to make Poster on different topics. They will be provided
with Chart Paper, Colors by the college.

• Life After death • Paint the Future
• Wild Parliament • Technical Development after 30 Yrs.
• Life on other Planets • India Becoming World power
• 11 September
Rules
1. Duration will not be more than 30 mins.
2. Judgment will be most likely to be based upon imagination and way of
representing that.
3. Material will be Provided By the college.

TECHNOLOGIQUE (Technical Quiz)

Description: This event is to tease the technical acumen of the students.

Rules
1. Two participants per team allowed.
2. Two teams per college
3. 10 seconds to answer the questions.
4. 1st round is written elimination round consisting of technical trivial questions.
5. 2nd round, questions will be asked to judge aptitude where speed & thought count.
6. 3rd round, grand finale, which will decide the winner.

DÉPANNER (Debugging)

Description: Debug some of the most infected C/C++ programs.

Rules
1. One participant per team.
2. Two teams per college.
3. C/C++ programs will be given; errors may be logical/syntactical/semantics.

Non Technical Events

PIECE MAKER (College Making)

Description: Participant will be provided with newspapers, chart papers scissors
and pasting materials. They have to make a college with some
appealing theme
Rules:
• Number of participants allowed is two
• Item will be conducted on the spot.
• Duration will not be more than 1 hour 30 mins.
• Scissors, pasting materials etc. will be provided by the college.
• Judgment will most likely to be based upon theme and presentation.

FACE OFF (Volta Face)

Description: Participant has to make different expressions of face.

Rules:
• Maximum numbers of two participants are allowed to participate.
• Participant has to make at least 5 faces.
• Judgment will most likely to be based upon quality of the acting, theme, general
impression etc.

SPEED (Extempore)
Description: Participant has to speak on a given topic for some given time limit.

Rules:
• Entry as only one participant is allowed
• Medium of expression will be Hindi or English or Punjabi.
• Judgment will most likely to be based upon the confidence level, fluency and
knowledge.

THE MASK (Face Painting)

Description: Entry will be in a team of two participants. One participant has to paint
participant’s face.
Rules:
• Entry in a team of two is allowed.
• Duration will not be more than 20 Mins.
• Judgment will most likely to be based upon theme, presentation and color
combination.

Colors and other material required will be provided by the college

APNA PICASSO (Brush Less Painting)

Description: Participant has to make a painting on the chart paper without using brush

Rules:
• Entry of one participant is allowed.
• Duration will not be more than 30 mins.
• Size of the painting will be half imperial size drawing paper i.e. 22x15 inches
• Painting can be done by oil, water, poster or pastel colors.
• Judgment will most likely to be based upon theme, neatness, presentation and
color combination.

G.K.QUIZ (School Level Only)

Description: This event is to tease the General Knowledge of the students.

Rules
1. 3 members per team.
2. 10 seconds to answer a question.
3. Judgment will most likely to be based upon their answers and their quick
response.
