Hold 2 strands together and fold in half. Insert hook through edge of scarf and draw folded ended of strands through to form loop. Thread ends of strands through loop and pull ends to tighten. Finishing Weave in ends. HAT With smaller double pointed needles and B, cast on 44 sts. Distribute sts evenly over 4 needles (11 sts per needle). Work in rounds. Work in Rib pattern until piece measures 2 from beginning. Change to larger double pointed needles. Increase Round: [K1, p1, M1] 22 times66 sts.
