First, other forms of energy (from various energy resources) are converted into electrical energy in electrical generating stations. Then, the electrical energy is converted to other forms of energy for a variety of uses. For instance, an electric kettle heats water, a television produces both light and sound energy, and an electric fan produces mechanical energy that is used to turn a fan blade.
