THE SOUND OF THE UNIVERSE The Universe is a sound and its frequency is fUniv = 4,047 10 Abstract: the Universe is a sound of a given frequency. Proof:

A sound is a wave. Wave means frequency. The music from a whole orchestra is a wave; this wave can be displayed on an oscilloscope by displaying the signal at a loudspeaker while speaking the music from that orchestra. According to Fourier, even a music from an orchestra can be developed in series of single and simple waves (cos and sin):

A simple sound s is: s = ak cos kx = ak cos k 2ft or s = bk sin kx = bk sin k 2ft , if you like. f is the frequency. General Fourier series:
+ + 1 1 1 f ( x) = a0 + [ak cos kx + bk sin kx] , where ak = f ( x ) cos kx dx and bk = f ( x ) sin kx dx 2 k =1

and for a square wave (as per the example in the above figure):

f ( x) =

4 sin[( 2k + 1) x] k = 0 (2k + 1)

and f ( x ) is the generic music from an orchestra. How to choose the frequency of the Universe:

1 e2 1 2 e 1 4 0 re 4 0 we know that = = = is the Fine Structure Constant. It is a ratio between a Coulombian h h 137 c c 2re 2
energy and a Planckian energy.

Gm 2 Lets look for another expression for the Fine Structure Constant based on a ratio between a Newtonian energy r
and a Planckian energy hf :

Gm 2 = 1 = r 137 hf

By spontaneously choosing the mass me and the classic radius re of the electron/positron harmonics: ( me = 9,1 10
31

kg and re =

e2 1 2,8179 10 15 m ) 2 4 0 me c

Gme2 1 r = = e 137 hfUniv

then fUniv must be: fUniv = 4,047 10
21

Hz indeed. Try and see.

Does such a frequency value make any sense? Lets see: 1) We immediately realize that h = 2mec fUniv = 6,625 10 is exactly the value of the Plancks Constant; very very sharply!!!
2 34

[W] (coincidence just numerical, not dimensional)

2) We know from physics that the period is the inverse of the frequency: TUniv =

1 fUniv

= 2, 47118 1020 s

Moreover, we know that the period is also given by the ratio between circumference and speed:

2RUniv cT = 2,47118 1020 s , so RUniv = Univ = 1,17908 10 28 m c 2 v2 c2 We also know from physics that a = , from which: aUniv = = 7,62 1012 m s 2 . r RUniv TUniv =
From the Newtons Universal Gravitation Law, we know that a = G M / r , from which:
2 2 aUniv RUniv = 1,59486 1055 kg G

M Univ =

where M Univ , RUniv and TUniv have just come out from the frequency of the Universe fUniv !

Now, lets introduce the well known Stefan-Boltzmann Law:

P [W ] = T 4 [W/m2] , where 4R 2

= 5,67 10 8W / m 2 K 4 is the Stefan-Boltzmanns constant.

From the above Stefan-Boltzmann Law we get T (a temperature):
1 P [W ] 2 ) 4 and we know from physics that the power is: P Univ = EUniv TUniv = M Univ c TUniv , from which: 2 4R M Univ c 2 1 1 P T T = ( [W ] 2 ) 4 = ( Univ2 ) 4 = TCMBR = 2,73K 4R 4RUniv

T =(

which is incidentally the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation CMBR temperature: TCMBR 2,73K !!!!!! (Get a calculator and check the calculations above reported, if you dont trust me!) 3) In a classic sense, if we imagine, for instance, to figure out the gravitational acceleration on an electron, as if it were a small planet, we must easily conclude that:

mx g e = G ge = G

m x me , from which: re2

3 4 me 2 2 Gme c 16 = = aUniv = 7,62 1012 m s 2 0 re2 e4 (again and sharply the aUniv we obtained before from fUniv !!!)

---------------------------At last, we have to admit that waves have a lot to do with the Universe. A photon is a wave (also), through the DAlembert equation:
2 2 2 v = x 2 t 2

( ( k x t )

r r

and matter is wave, somehow, through the Schrodinger equation:

ih 2 = t 2m x 2

( ( k x t )

r r

Moreover, a particle and an antiparticle, by annihilation, generate photons, so waves, and, on the contrary, we can have particles starting from photons. All is wave; all is music, somehow.
