The remaining amount of toner for each color can be displayed in 1% and in the range of 0 to 100%. However, the remaining amount in weight or length as defined in prtMIB cannot be displayed. Thus, to correspond to the storing method of prtMIB, when prtMarkerSuppliesSupplyUnit(7) contains tenthsOfGrams(13) (=1/10 gram), prtMarkerSuppliesMaxCapacity(8) is virtually set to 5400 for black toner and to 1700 for Y, M, and C toners (that is, the maximum amount of black toner is 540g, and those of Y, M, C toners are 170g), and prtMarkerSuppliesLevel(9) is reduced to 54 for black toner and to 17 for Y, M, and C toners as 1 unit. Therefore, we recommend the remaining amounts in the ratio of prtMarkerSuppliesMaxCapacity and prtMarkerSuppliesLevel instead of absolute amounts, when displaying the remaining amounts in the utility, **Please note that the maximum amount of toner is not precise** Since controller is designed that the remaining amount of toner is notified from the engine to controller by 1% step, the remaining amount of prtMarkerSuppliesLevel should be the result of multiplying the notified value by 54 for black toner, or by 17 for Y, M, and C toners.

No toner of Y, M, or C cartridge is determined as out of toner in warning level, because the device can operate with black and white if K cartridge has toner ink when one of Y, M, and C cartridge ran out of toner ink. On the contrary, when K cartridge ran out of toner, monotint (eg. Y only) printing is not available and an operator call is published. When the feeder cover is open and paper is placed at the paper input area of the feeder, this occurs. In the engine designations, it is defined as Service Call (basically, this code does not published). However, this is defined as designation here because Operator Call status is also notified as engine status at the same time when Service Call status is notified. Including Fixing Unit Life Alert (operator call) Korean Fax Standard has the rule that if a caller telephone number is not registered in the caller Fax machine itself, sending faxes are not permitted or are treated as error rather than calling a fax). This is a warning for the Korean rule. Including Fixing Unit Life Alert Stores error codes for copier system.
