Recharge Half-Time Report
Our Recharge Snow Camp ministry is nearing its completion in the next two weeks! However, looking back, we have had an awesome season! Over 350 campers and leaders have enjoyed tubing, high ropes, crazy program skits, pizza parties, and solid, biblical teaching! These weekends have given leaders a chance to connect with their youth on a deeper level. Most importantly, 17 young people trusted Christ as their Saviour and 45 made decisions to dedicate their lives to Him. Some of the campers shared their thoughts: - "Loved it, at first I didn't want to go, then when I got here it was awesome! Coming back!" - "This weekend really challenged me to spend more time in God's Word and exercise His Word too" - "My faith grew more and now I have a lot more trust and reassurance" - "As a new Christian this helped strengthen my faith"

I have been working in Brazil for the past three years with Light in Action, using film and cinema to produce a chronological teaching series of the Bible. I found my wife Aryanne while she was acting on set! We are now married and continue in production of Tetelestai, which we hope to finish principal photography by August 2014, when we will go into post-production. "Giving All Diligence"

In Quiet Time recently we have been reminded about the importance of growing in our faith. 2 Peter 1:5 says, "And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith..." and goes on to lay out an ingredient list for a recipe of Christian growth. Later, verse 10 states, "Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure..." It is always convicting to read of the effort required to grow in grace and in knowing our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (2 Pet. 3:18a) Some would say, "Planning growth limits the Spirit," or "There's no freedom, it's so legalistic to plan growth," but this passage is a great reminder that the fruit of the Spirit is a growing self-control (Gal. 5:22-23) and that God requires everything to be done "decently and in order." (1 Cor. 14:40)
