Anthropology Club Elections 1. Name: Rolynda Gunnell Major: Anthropology Archaeology Track Minor: Zoology 2.

. I am a current dues-paying member of the Anthropology Club 3. I am registered for two Anthropology courses this semester: Intro to Anthropology (ANTH 1000) and Biological Anthropology (ANTH 1020). My anticipated schedule for next semester (Summer 2014) includes Principles of Zoology I (ZOOL 1110) and Animal Biology (ZOOL 1010), possibly including Evolution (ZOOL 3720) and/or Archaeological Field Techniques (ANTH 3300). 4. I am running for A. Vice President and B. Secretary (Historian.) A. The vice presidents duties as outlined in the club constitution include: Assist the president and assume the presidents duties in case of absence Act as the clubs program coordinator: to arrange speakers and activities In conjunction with the historian, make and distribute advertising materials for club meetings and activities and Fulfill other duties assigned by the president. B. The historians duties as outlined in the club constitution include: Act as the scribe for the club: record minutes of the meetings In conjunction with the vice president, make and distribute advertising materials for club meetings and activities In conjunction with the treasurer, create and maintain an accurate listing of club members and contact information Handle correspondence for the club, both between club members and with other clubs and Fulfill other duties assigned by the president. I think it best to mention here that Im only seeking to hold one office, and have chosen these two to indicate what I am most interested in, though I am flexible and willing to fill in wherever it might be needed based on number of candidates who are interested (or lack of candidates who are interested) in any given position. 5. The photo is included as an attachment in this email. 6. I think Ive been an Anthropologist most of my life, long before Id ever heard of the discipline. Ive always been fascinated by other cultures, varied belief systems, and archaeological discoveries. I have insatiable curiosity and enthusiasm for all things that fit within the vast category of Anthropology. Im currently working on my Bachelors Degree at WSU and once I graduate I intend to pursue my graduate degrees, culminating in a Doctorate. My long-term career goal is to find employment as a Zooarchaeologist. 7.
