The performance of the cell will be optimized by optimizing anode catalyst activity and interface with the electrolyte and preparation of thin membranes. The cell then will be scaled up for construction of a stack.

Project Abstract
Greenleaf will examine the potential application of Zero Emission Distributed Hydrogen (ZEDH2) technology at three selected pressure letdown sites on the ATCO natural gas transmission system. ZEDH2 is an innovative configuration of commercially proven subsystems that may be used to: capture wasted pressure letdown energy; produce clean electricity; and/or produce hydrogen fuels for vehicle refueling.

Project Abstract
The OSTRF is carrying out research directed at developing novel and innovative approaches for environmentally friendly disposal of oil sands tailings. This research will help industry and regulators to significantly improve approaches for the disposal of the tailings. Research objectives include rapid recycling of water from the tailings that will lead to a reduction in the volume of fresh water usage which is critical if our massive oil-sands resources are to be further developed.

Project Abstract
The HUGD facility is proposed for the development, demonstration and commercial deployment of gasification and other technologies related to bitument upgrading. it will be designed operated and constructed at Suncor Energy Inc's Fort McMurray properties.
