DigitalPersona Quick-Start Guide for Oracle Retail Point-of-Service

Installation:
1. Download DP Drivers for Oracle Retail Point-of-Service 1.0.0 from: http://www.digitalpersona.com/oracle/biometrics 2. Install the JavaPOS layer by running setup.exe found in the DPUrUJavaPOS110\RTE\ directory.

**Note: When installation is complete it will ask for a reboot. This reboot is optional. 3. Install the One Touch for Windows drivers by running setup.exe found in the .\DPOTWSDK1401\RTE\ directory.

De-select COM and .NET options. **Note: Once installed a reboot notification will pop-up. At this point you should reboot the machine.

4. Verify successful installation by running the DigitalPersona sample application shown below: %ProgramFiles%\DigitalPersona\JavaPOS with Dev Tools\register.bat %ProgramFiles%\DigitalPersona\JavaPOS with Dev Tools\Samples\run.bat

Configuration (Final Steps):
1. Update your JavaPOS configuration file to load the appropriate DigitalPersona components. Add JPOS entry:

2. Update your run script to add DigitalPersona libraries to your classpath. Ex:

3. Run the Oracle Retail Point-of-Service application. If you are unable to enable the fingerprint device please see the Support section below.
