People have the right to know whats in their food Some labels on GE foods come with health effects being shown. 21 countries have mandatory GMO labeling. People who want to buy Non-GMO foods can buy organic foods Labeling will allow those who dont want to consume GMOs know if that food has any of not.

Legal issues such as patents, law suits, and laws. Non-GMO farmers have been run out of business due to lawsuits describing that they are using the companys GMO product in their fields, but due to cross breeding, they are getting the GMO in their fields. Farmers who plant GMO seeds are no longer allowed to seed clean seeds after a harvest and save some for next year, and being forced to buy new seeds. Small farmers who buy seeds may not be able to afford the super seeds that wealthy farmers may buy.
