Summary
Michael S Bergin is a specialist in Building Information Modeling and Computational Design. At Autodesk he is a program manager responsible for executing corporate strategy in educational institutions for Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) products in mature markets, worldwide. Michael S Bergin co-founded the Architecture Research Lab in 2010. He previously worked with Architecture and Engineering firms throughout the East Coast and California to develop strategies for leveraging parametric design software. He has contributed his expertise to a wide variety of projects including several hospitals, high rise mixed-use and mid-rise residential projects. He received his Master of Architecture from University of California, Berkeley's College of Environmental Design where he received the Malcolm Reynolds Fellowship and led his team to Vertical Cities Asia 2011 at the National University of Singapore. In the Fall of 2011, he studied with Directors of Architecture and Structural Engineering at the Skidmore, Owings & Merrill Integrated Design Studio focused on Skyscraper design in China.
