Introduction:
It was a very strange filling to count many articles in internet, regarding the dead of the 4-4-2 playing system in performance football, all written on the prestigious football specialists and publications! The reason we are participating at this debate, is revers to this question and concern of football people: 1. The first hypothesis to be discussed and established: What are the really, scientific, technical and strategic differences between A PERFORMANCE CONCEPT, PLAYING SYSTEM AND A PLAYING FORMATION? On the other hand, we need to respond together to the question if THE 4-4-2 is a PLYING SYSTEM, or just a PLAYING FORMATION? The last question? What about the other hundreds FORMATIONS through whom the teams are passing, during 90 minutes, changing almost every second of the games, as followings: Lets go together the team formations, starting from our team, playing in Attack: 8-1-1-in our own penalty are; 6-3-1; 5-5; 5-4-1; 4-3-3; 4-2-4; 4-1-4-1, 4-3-2-1; 3-5-2; 3-4-3; 3-3-4; and in the opponent penalty, attacking to score the goals: 2-4-4; 2-3-5, 2-2-6; 2-1-7; 2-8, ETC etc, To address the same question? I. - THE FIRST CONCLUSION OF OUR DIALOGUE:

The 4-4-2 was not dying, as system of playing, because was not born, its still a Playing Formation!
1. The 4-4-2 was not dying because was not born! ITS A PLAYING FORMATION LIKE OTHER HUNDREDS! The 4-4-2, 2-4-4- or 4-3-3 0r 3-4-3, etc. There are numbers of formations the teams are taking and passing during the game without a scientific, art and market acceptance, as PLAYING SYSTEM, all those being simply (NORMAL COMMON SENSE) - PLAYING FORMATIONS!
